~ 4am this morning i had another episode of epilepsy in my sleep . . . yet again, i had this weird flashing thing in my left visual field, accompanied with an overwhelming sense of fear, calling out 'help me!" several times, then dad came into my room to my rescue =D
:D rejoice with me! :D

:D i may be an epileptic but I AM LOVED!! [and that's all that matters!]

:D when i fear, Father is there to drive away my fears & makes everything alright :D

:D Father takes away my fears & fills my heart with songs of praise & rejoicing!
*PRAY*
- saw the Doctor this morning & was told i'd need to stay on my medication [valpro] indefinitely :[
i feel this is really NOT ideal - i'd hate to have to stay dependent on a little pill to keep me together :(
* use my epilepsy for His glory [i don't know how but i know He can!]

* Jesus would display His supreme power in & through my weak body!

* keep me trusting in Him ONLY for EVERYTHING - amongst many other things:
+ to keep me together
+ provide "all these things" as i seek to keep living a lifestyle of wartime simplicity.

+ keep me close to Himself, thinking, moving, living in His love to love others~!

These encouraging signs are but a glimpse of the day in which all peoples will be represented in the service of praise at the marriage supper of the Lamb.

* convict them of their sin & turn them into "fishers of men"!


* we'd see these dear lost souls in heaven, loving Jesus much because they received The Good News, along with others who're there because they didn't keep The Good News to themselves!!

Dear praying friends, I’m re-learning [again, for the 77654875869th time!] to trust Him to provide for my *every* need & not go grabbing after things He hasn’t given!


.. after all, He’s always given me *everything* I need at *just* the right time, AND in ways *far* better than i could have ever provided for myself – so why try acting independently of Him???!


I’ve Been doing lots of really awesome reading lately :D

A Question on my mind: “where is the glory of The Lord Jesus in this land?”
 * may He manifest His glory in our lives & the lands we live in!


* I’d desire The Great with great desire!
 * I’d see him in his greatness, and so desire Him in His fullness!
 * show me where I’ think i know things I’m most certain about but actually am ignorant!
 * I’d be driven by a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples!
 * I’d pray that God’s name be hallowed and his kingdom come and his will be done in the earth (Matthew 6:9-10). And yearn, work, pray and fast not only for the final revelation of the Jesus, but for the demonstration of his Spirit and power in the reaching of every people, and the rescuing of the perishing, and the purifying of the church, and the putting right of as many wrongs as God will grant.

* I’d so hunger for private and public displays of the glory of our great God find release in fasting and prayer and every good work.

* I’d stop depending on myself and seek God as my treasure and help!


* in my evangelism I’d not give people “intellectual Christianity” but an encounter with Jesus that alone can save!

I was super frustrated at a brother the other day .. :

not so much at what he did to annoy me, but how he went on to do things that reminded me of my foolish, stubbornly selfish ways that I’ve lived to regret. As i read through the account of Jeremiah, God’s messenger to His people, I can faintly imagine how God must have felt when he kept pleading & urging his people to turn away from their destructive, stubbornly selfish ways, but they didn’t listen to a word of His warnings & kept right on in their ways, to their destruction. :(


. . . I should listen to my own advice I give to others! - Not living just to please myself & doing things for my own convenience & so wasting much time, money & energy!


A most humbling & heartbreaking day – witnessing my own personal stupidity mirrored in the life of a brother & pleading with him not to go down ways I’ve gone down & lived to regret, only to have him stubbornly persist in his own ways . . . :(


The real test of character is how you treat people when you think you’re most certainly right.

how easy it is for me to forget that in His awesome wisdom & control, He's using the enemy of our souls, even ourselves at our very worst, to work something more glorious & amazing than we could ever imagine! [perfect example: the cross!
- mankind at their worst, killing their Creator, was turned around to work salvation for all who'd leave themselves & their efforts & throw their full weight of confidence on Jesus Christ!


*PRAY** we'd not let "serving" & "ministry" crowd out our worship of Him! - faith & worship must ALWAYS HAVE PRIORITY OVER WORK"


* keep us daily sitting at Jesus' feet to do the 'One Thing That's Necessary'

Can you even imagine being “faint” with love for the Lord? Wouldn’t this be the ultimate experience, to love Him so much that you cannot contain yourself? Do we love the Lord Jesus Christ, our heavenly bridegroom, with the passion and purity of the love this bride has for her husband? Do we truly regard His love as the most precious of all forms of pleasure and satisfaction? Do we honor His longing for a bride who is both beautiful and complete?

Pray that [we and ]the Muslim Arabs in Tanzania will become so “faint with love” for Jesus that they will not be able to contain themselves, but will proclaim His Name to Arabs everywhere.

Let’s face it; the Chinese in Tanzania have a lot for which to be proud. They are among the best businessmen in the country, and many have become rich. But any culture is on the wrong track when they fall into pride. Traditional Chinese religion does not focus on the God of creation; and thus they have no way to measure how small they are compared to Him. The tragic results, according to this proverb, is disgrace, something the Chinese avoid at all cost.

Pray that the Chinese in Tanzania will soon gain the humility and wisdom to focus their spirituality on the One who created them.

All over the world, there are people like the Hindus who fear gods and keep their commandments. They know very little about the only One who has the right by way of creation, to expect obedience. Billions of people have wasted their lives by obeying gods that aren't God. Don't we owe them a chance to know and embrace the only One who has the right to command them?

after enjoying a scrumptious Indian meal celebrating a precious Japanese brothers' birthday, we met Tim & Yumiko after taking a photo by a large wall painting of the Taj Mahal inside.

the conversation didn't turn anywhere eternal / spiritual but Yumiko was interested to join the free English classes & i left them both a $1,000,000 gospel tract :)

Following on from my post on the 18th Jan 2010:


Celebrating going into the 9th year of rich & full living . . .


i’m really needing wisdom as to where He wants me to serve Him!
So yet again I desire your prayers for me~!


The Question is . . . to continue or not to continue with international student / workers ministries.. ?

A few days ago I as blessed to share a farewell lunch for a new brother in Jesus, Charles, [this new brother is a big encouragement to me, after our very first lunch appointment I got the impression he was another false convert but he shared one of the highlights of his time in Australia was becoming a Christian – something he totally didn’t expect to happen!]


- Afterwards, he encouraged me not to stop serving international students.


I don’t think I’d shared with Charles this nagging question that’s been on my heart. Was Father using him to speak to me or.. ??

The main confusion lies in my sinful, deceptive heart. i know I will often go after what makes me feel good, comes at a minimum of effort & expense, [i.e. I’m lazy & stingy] plus also gives me maximum joy & satisfaction.

I’ve been learning that the path of discipleship is one of labour, toil, hardships & suffering. But if I keep serving international student / workers don’t see this .. maybe I’m jut short-sighted & it’s about to come my way but I don’t know it .. ?

After lunch, I felt happy that in some small way Father used me to have an impact in his life!


But I do I serve international student / working holidayers because it makes me feel wanted, significant, loved, useful .. ? I mean, am I really doing this for His glory or myself?


Am I only wanting to keep going with this because it’s comfortable & familiar ??

Yet he proclaimed it all worthless. Why? Solomon had forfeited the enjoyment of God's blessings by his disobedience. Even though he was used of God to bless the Queen of Sheba, Solomon encumbered God's plan to bless "all the families of the world" because of his sin of idolatry. With the channel of blessing diverted to personal pleasure, Solomon evaluated life as vain, empty, and futile.

Pray that the Gujaratis in Tanzania [and All of us!] will learn from King Solomon, turn from their idolatry and materialism, and seek first the Kingdom and His righteousness.

and yes, this time i remembered to warn him about the wrath to come - Jesus is coming back to judge! not sure if i should have stressed on this point much stronger than i did??

my precious friends in prayer~!

an international friend said it perfectly:
"i know what HE calls me to do ... it's not a easy job"



I'm Praying for direction about where & what He wants me to serve in this year .. do i keep serving in the area of international student / workers ministries?



these ministries for the most part, have been 'easy' & 'comfortable' .. I'm sure following & serving Jesus can’t be all so easy & comfortable!


.. What does He have in store for me?

I don’t know ..or maybe this is where He wants me to be because He knows I'm way too soft & couldn’t handle all too much hardship & suffering anyway! :P



my heart's desire is to serve in His mission to seek & ave the lost .. to please my King-Lover .. :)

do i just take drop everything & take time off to pray & seek His will?

or is it better to stay active & as i serve trust Him to direct me .. your prayers / wisdom/ counsel would be much appreciated~!

Jerry, an unsaved nurse has been coming along on Sunday mornings [i was tempted to type 'has been coming along to church' but after my last post, my thinking has been wondrously transformed!! :D
for some reason he always feels bad he can't always make it because of his shift work, but is glad to come when he can & has been wanting to join a small group for some time now but hasn't been able to [again, because of his shift work!]
anyhow, i often find him sitting by himself after the program's finished, and with my natural gravitation towards people who sit by themselves, was able to have a good chat with him about where he is spiritually  - shared some insights from the VERY CONFRONTING & CHALLENGING article i read last night [see my previous post!] - at the end of our chat i asked him if there's anything i could pray for him.. he said i could pray for other people . . . - i replied "we all need prayer - i'll pray you have an encounter with Jesus" .. he said he'd like that :)
do ask Father to have mercy on Jerry, and give him such a revelation of Himself, that he'd find Life = JESUS!! & not get tangled up in the mess of religiosity / spirituality that's all over the place now!

he rocked up to our E.C.C. last year, has since made friends with a few of the soccer-keen guys, & is now reading the bible for himself & wanting to "see Jesus"!!

may his request be granted =)
 i look forward to all the "Jerrys & Sams" Father will bring to cross paths with His children this year to draw them back into relationship with HImself!

Escape From Churchianity!! <-- WARNING -- VERY CONFRONTING & CHALLENGING READING!!

praise Abba for turning another sleepless night into a prodictive revelation of Him .. :)

imagine that the Lord wakes you up one night and says, “Come up here, and I will show you the Church.” You expect Him to carry you down the street to the Family Worship Center or across the country to where the crowds say they are experiencing revival; but instead you find yourself rising high into the air, leaving the earth behind, and in the blink of an eye you travel beyond the edges of the temporal universe and into the spirit realm, seated with Christ in heavenly places, there in the throne of God.


Seated with the Lord and looking back down upon the world, we find from this perspective that the cathedrals, the church buildings, the worship centers, the sanctuaries, the denominational offices, the seminaries, the tithes and offerings, the membership drives, the movements, all vanish from sight. Everything melts away. He does not see the Assemblies of God, the Southern Baptists, the United Methodists, the Lutherans, the Presbyterians, or the Roman Catholics. He does not see Charismatics or Fundamentalists or Bible Belts or Christian Conservatives or Religious Rights. He does not see the building devoted to religious meetings as anything more special or significant than the grocery store or barber shop. He sees pastors, yes, but strangely, He does not see every director of a non-profit organization who owns a building devoted to religious meetings as a pastor. And it is not just the pastors that are different, from our heavenly observation point. Everything seems odd. Backwards. Apostles are not where you expect them to be, and they are not doing what you expect them to be doing; neither are prophets, evangelists, or teachers. Yet, they are right where He wants them to be, doing exactly what He wants them to do. Interestingly enough, He is not concerned with a rise or a decline in church attendance because He does not see the Church as something which can be attended. Hmmmm.

Standing next to Him we see as He sees. We realize when we look upon Christendom that all God sees there is His Church, the Ecclesia. He deems those who abide in Him, those who possess the Son, as those who have Life. His Church is not declining, it is growing because His Life cannot be contained or restricted. His Ecclesia is outside the matrix. His Church is spiritual, and as such, it is eternal, transcending time and space. Just as He is, and does.

You look upon His Face and see the curve of His smile, so you follow His gaze – and there it is, the living stones and precious gems which make up His Church. You couldn’t see them before, because you were right in the middle of it while still on earth. But now, far removed from it all and looking down upon it from the Lord’s perspective, you see that the living stones are being assembled together into a brilliant, gleaming, dazzling building which covers the entire earth! An angel stands apart from it, shouting, “100% pure: never touched by human hands!” You zoom in closer and discover that the stones and gems are not literal stones and gems, but people! Wonderful, beautiful, joy-filled people, joined together into a striking mosaic of vibrant colors, a tapestry of interwoven beauty, a medley of lives in perfect twelve-part harmony, all pulsing with His heartbeat, His Life, His Essence. You begin to weep at the unadulterated purity of it and oneness of it. There is no spot, wrinkle, or blemish to be found.

Only God could make something this gorgeous. Only God. Only God. And there in the midst of this wonderful place, you see what makes it so splendid…

There HE is, walking around in the midst of this Temple, adding living stone upon living stone, precious gem upon precious gem, and what do you hear? Singing? Yes. The Living Stones are crying out in praise. And He is smiling, and – whistling! – while He works.

Jesus is building His Church.



Then, as quickly as it began, it is over...

May God have mercy on us, and give us such a revelation of Himself, and His Church, that we may escape from Churchianity and find Life!

The Lord's purpose will prevail, but will it be His first, second, third, or fourth choice? It's very easy to allow our plans and ambitions to get in the way of what the Lord really wants for us. Do you have any "non-negotiables" that can get in the way of the Lord's first choice?
Pray that we will allow the Lord to be Lord over all aspects of our lives, so that His purpose will prevail. Not our wills, but His be done!

pray for LeAnne - optus customer service rep!

LeAnne was the optus customer service rep i just spoke to about camncelling my contract number (which i've been on for 10 years!) all went well, then at the end she asked "is there anything else i could do for you today?"


i told her that i had an important message to share with her, referring her to to please see the site http://intout.com/ [yes, i've changed from just the usual site i refer people to as i learnt in Monday's Bible class that we're not only to tell people good news, but we *need* to SOUND THE ALARM & WARN PEOPLE TO WAKE UP – JUDGMENT IS COMING!! [it’s the message that got me saved . . . so why do I fail so often to pass this on in my evangelism? :( ]:D the ways He's used the internet to communicate His gospel to the lost!




* LeAnne's soul be convcicted of sin & drawn to The Only Saviour - Jesus Chist!

* may His salvation be highly contagious to all around her!!

why not share this (or your own favorite evangelistic website) with those strangers Father brings you into contact with? on the internet / phone etc?!

The Lord isn't slow to do what he promised, as some people think. Rather, he is patient for your sake. He doesn't want to destroy anyone but wants all people to have an opportunity to turn to him and change the way they think and act. 2 Peter 3:9

i wonder how many lost souls Christians speak to, yet we just let the opportunity pass without directing them to Jesus in some way?!

TIME IS SO SHORT -- LET'S PASSIONATELY REDEEM THE TIME IN THESE EVIL DAYS!
