I was super frustrated at a brother the other day .. :

not so much at what he did to annoy me, but how he went on to do things that reminded me of my foolish, stubbornly selfish ways that I’ve lived to regret. As i read through the account of Jeremiah, God’s messenger to His people, I can faintly imagine how God must have felt when he kept pleading & urging his people to turn away from their destructive, stubbornly selfish ways, but they didn’t listen to a word of His warnings & kept right on in their ways, to their destruction. :(


. . . I should listen to my own advice I give to others! - Not living just to please myself & doing things for my own convenience & so wasting much time, money & energy!


A most humbling & heartbreaking day – witnessing my own personal stupidity mirrored in the life of a brother & pleading with him not to go down ways I’ve gone down & lived to regret, only to have him stubbornly persist in his own ways . . . :(


The real test of character is how you treat people when you think you’re most certainly right.


- I fail this test :(
