***UPDATE***pray for serving & loving by welcoming!

:D had a good lunch with E* & G* from Sri Lanka today [I'm thankful just one of his friends turned up and not the 3 he told me!] .. although it's a challenge to communicate, love is the universal language :)
.. they sure have a story with horrendous backgrounds that really makes me thankful to live in such a relatively 'safe' country that is able to be a 'safe' place for these dear refugees!

I was blessed to give them a backpack each which had been sitting in a spare wardrobe for years doing nothing .. :|
then i went along to the welcoming class which was tricky  given a whole lot of 3-way translating had to go on from English-Tamil-Sinha .. but it's still a privilege & joy to just welcome these new friends in Australia.

* provide them with good friends who'll help connect them to Jesus, The Ultimate
'City of Refuge'
* provide them with good jobs to help connect them to Jesus, the Very Best Master

* provide them with good places to live in that'll help connect them to Jesus, The Ultimate Shelter!

.. sheesh .. I'd sure appreciate prayers for more strength & energy .. it seems even just after 6 hours of 'people time' i'm ready to call it a day! .. thankful i can stay at home .. this is one instance my bad planning to not get transport to my usual home group tonight has worked out to my advantage ... ;)

Women in Asia are the least likely to hear the Gospel

Did you know that over 50,000 female children are aborted every month in South Asia? Females are often the last to eat and the most likely to be illiterate. They’re the first to work as child laborers and sometimes even sold to become one of 1.2 million child prostitutes. As they grow they gain little respect.
They live in the most unreached parts of the world—places that have yet to hear the Gospel. And many women cannot be approached by men due to cultural customs, making their slim chance of hearing the Gospel even slimmer.
Gospel for Asia has a burden to reach them. We believe that uplifting the lives of these women is one of the most significant things that can come about to transform families and communities for Christ.

By sponsoring one of our handpicked and trained women missionaries, you will:

  • Make it possible for gender barriers to be overcome so that women in Asia can hear the Gospel.
  • Enable ministry to women in all walks of life, whether widows, mothers, or young adults.
  • Reach women in unreached parts of Asia no one else can reach—even in villages, slums, and leprosy colonies.
  • Partner with an organization that has over 30 years of experience in reaching women in Asia with the Gospel.

Women missionaries are the perfect solution to reach other women

Each woman missionary already lives in Asia. In preparation for ministry, she has gone through three years of intensive ministry training.
These advantages make her ideal to reach women in Asia:
  • She moves freely in areas restricted to outsiders or men and is accepted in good times and bad.
  • She knows the cultural taboos instinctively.
  • She has already mastered the language or a related dialect.
  • She lives among the community, eating the same food, wearing the same clothes, and sharing the same cultural interests.
  • She has a passion and burden to reach women in Asia.

Almost anyone can make a difference for women in Asia

It only takes $30 a month to help support a woman missionary to serve full-time to reach other women.
Through Bible studies, house visits, and the personal ministry of our missionaries, thousands of women have found hope in Christ. But the need in Asia is great. Millions of women have still never heard the Good News.
By sponsoring, you will allow women in the next village to be reached.

***UPDATE*** pray for Barni [?]

oops.. late update re: this post .. because what i expected didn't happen :S
Barni was told to go to the class & look for me to get prayer from .. it seemed he didn't turn up, if he did, he didn't come to me .. which is ok -  pray for him anyway!! :)
there was another dear one on crutches i got to pray for -his name was the middle eastern name for Jesus!  i also met another brother from his same country who is named after Moses ... this is where the biggest revival is currently happening .. IRAN!! similar to what happened in China ~20+ years ago!! woohoo!!
i *LOVE* the way Father turns oppressive regimes that try as hard as they can to destroy the church of Jesus Christ, around to being hotspots of HolySpirit revival!! HOO YEAH!!!

rejoice with me & pray for me!

Dear princes & princesses, sons & daughters of noble identity & royal destiny!!
I’m sending this on the eve of departing for Sydney until next Monday
(going to Ellel ministries’ short course on Healing for Victims of Accident & Trauma)
Yup, you heard it right .. 10 years after the brain injury, I’m going for it .. I’m finally learning to let go of that which I’ve often shared as “the 2nd best thing to happen to me”
there’s no question that Jesus can heal me totally of the effects of the brain injury which have left me “disabled” for the past 10 years.
It’s taken a lot to bring me to the point of even being willing to receive all that goes with re-entering a “normal” life again, which I’ve honestly enjoyed avoiding for as long as I can. :|
To be sure, there’s aspects of being “disabled” that I enjoy to no end, but it’s mostly selfish in the end :[
And while the prospect of being “able” again doesn’t really excite me, I feel I really mustn’t stay as I am to truly progress in the journey of living loved & loving PapaGod has me on ;D

… so He knows what’s in store. Things may or may not be very different the next time I write!
But whatever the case, my heart is filled with thankfulness =D thank God & thank you for sharing my journey the past decade!
a challenging quote: “If people thought Jesus was like you, what would they like about Jesus? What wouldn't they like?”

:D rejoice with me! :D
:D for all the precious truths He’s been showing me ;)
.. one example: I not only have THE gift to give them, but I AM THE gift that MUST BE GIVEN AWAY!!

:D all the life-giving blessings received from the Elijah House prayer ministry level D course

:D He takes pleasure in my [unsinful] pleasure!!

:D He is the  transformer of  identities from the worst to the best!!!!

:D washing away my soul’s garbage, vomit & filth with His  blood!

:D taking away my pig nature & all the times He’s kept me from returning to wallow in filth!

:D His purification, presence & protection!

*PRAY*
I have recently joined an outreach welcoming refugees on Wednesday afternoons - pray we love them well like Jesus does – be ‘Jesus with skin on’!

* light me on fire, that I might rightly serve Yahweh!!

* I’d keep submitting to Him to REVOLUTIONISE my world with His holiness! to live authentically, be fully  in on His operations!

* help me to live in moment-by-moment partnership with Holy Spirit!

* lead & guide me in a servant lifestyle/ attitude/ posture!

* finishing level D of the Elijah House prayer ministry course in 2 weekends time .. pray we fully cooperate with HolySpirit in all He wants to do!

* Help me to seize life, no longer bound by my self-imposed limitations & fears & have a ridiculously good time in this brief life I have to live!

* despite the bad times, help me live life with ecstatic enthusiasm, trusting  Him to make even the worst ‘tragedies’ work for my good – to conform me to the image of Jesus!

~thank you~!

Please tell me how I can best support you before His throne of Grace too OK!
owing everything to God’s grace, Able :)

pray for Barni [?]

i got a call last night informing me that a precious refugee has some physical condition that prevents him from getting work. this makes it incredibly difficult for him to survive here in this land he's sought refuge in after fleeing his homeland of trouble & chaos!
he needs a miracle .. he needs The Miracle - Jesus Christ!
he's been told about me [!] to look out for me .. I'd very much love to partner with what Papa wants to do in his life.

please pray I'd be fully in tune with HolySpirit to see & know what He's wanting to do in Barni regarding his sickness & when is His timing, then do what He's doing in His timing!

.. of course I'd very much love to see

.. his translator friend sashi [?] trained to be a hindu priest .. he could possibly be a 'man of peace' as a whole bunch from his village in Sri Lanka left to find refuge
... could this be the beginning of a people movement to Christ, The Living God who hears, who heals and who cares?!

please pray with me!!

***UPDATE***pray for serving & loving by welcoming!

thanks for praying!
it was another great joy & privilege to be something of Jesus' hands, feet, heart & mouth to these dear a bunch of mostly middle eastern refugee men & love them like Jesus!!
:D giving me a taste of middle eastern hospitality - it's humbling & incredibly awesome!! .. there's definitely a redemptive Kingdom aspect to their level of hospitality shown to the average person!!

pray we'll be committed to loving them into eternity, however long & hard it is!!

* pray especially for growing friendship with M, Z & R who've given me an open invite to visit them every now & then .. i really need to be more diligent with honoring the relationships & people He brings into my life!

* provide needed jobs, accommodation, friends & other essentials to settle into life in this land of refuge, ultimately to find Jesus as The Only Safe Refuge now & forever!!

.. shopping for a good cheap laptop with WIFI [2nd hand is OK] <$450 for M needing it to search for jobs
 ... any tips?
... also shopping for a better prepaid mobile carrier that allows them to phone their families in their home countries as their current carrier raised their call rates 9x recently!  ... any tips?

seems like Father's heart is drawing me there for at least the next few Wednesday afternoon's. would treasure your prayer covering as i join the team!

pray for Yoshi

meeting Yoshi tomorrow .. please pray i be in tune with His mind, heart & words!!
+ the powers of darkness over him would bow the knee to Jesus!
, that he be wooed & won into the arms of his jealously loving father in Heaven!!

thanks!!
