sorry if this mail doesn't really 'fill you in' on what's been going on in his precious life He's given me, if you want to know more just ask~! my life's an open book ;)

.. On the eve of the Big Walk tomorrow – was resting today as recommended but still feeling strangely tired. Hmm ... it’ll surely be a miracle if I can walk the distance intended tomorrow!
… cant help but raise the question if I get bad sleep tonight, should I still walk?
i Was reading in 2 Samuel today about David’s “good intentions” to build God a house – sometimes our good intentions are *not* what HE wants us to act on!

Of course His Kingdom still goes forth, and though I have every good intention of walking, please pray I’d let go of my desires, know His good, pleasing & perfect will & embrace it with joy!

:D thank God! :D

:D He satisfies, so much more than the richest of foods & choicest of meats!

:D giving me grace in controlling my diet & helping me *enjoy* the changeover to a largely vegetable-heavy diet [something I once thought impossible!]

:D helping me not to “cry over spilt milk” – the number of times i do stupid things / make a mess / break or spill stuff is abnormal, but massively humbling! :P

:D saving me from falling & many other potential disasters multiple times every day!!

:D He’s relentless to complete the Good Work He started in me! He’s made this sinner into a saint!

:D He loves me TOO much to leave me in my "comfortable bubbles"!

:D pouring out grace upon grace through loving, supportive friends & family ~! [i.e. YOU!] ..

*PRAY*
* i‘d live with one aim and one aim only – to glorify Christ!

* I’d never again be seduced by all the small, the trivial, the petty things which occupy me and waste so much of my time.

* I’d see a Christ that fills me, a Christ that so much greater than me, larger than I can fathom, an indescribable Christ that overshadows, overwhelms, and consumes me through and through!

* I’d keep relaxing into His Love, no more trying, no more resisting!

* He’d keep my heart from wandering after idols.
[I know I’m super-susceptible to this, I’ve been doing it all my life!]

* I’d faithfully proclaim a narrow gospel because that’s the only gospel there is! [Matt 7:13-14]

* I’d grow in yieldedness to Jesus as Lord, becoming ever softer clay in The Potter’s hands!

* I’d live in the arms of mercy, letting His undying love for me free me & restore my brokenness rather than seeking to live by fear of His judgment or confidence in my performance (or lack thereof!)

* I’d pour out my life instead of always trying to save it!

* I’d learn what it is to live by faith [faith is spelt R.I.S.K.!]- Still struggling at times to live loved.. what’s with me??!!

* all my of self would be lost in order to gain Christ!
* grow me out of ‘the ‘Babylon’ religious way of thinking & behaving that’s become so ingrained in me! :O

* I’d share more with others rather than just be comfortable with my usual style of interacting – i.e. asking Qns & being the listener but doing little sharing – especially when Father has given me lots to share!!

These are among the most assuring words in the Bible. Imagine being able to resist the devil, and to have the God of all comfort come near! Imagine how this sounds to someone who has been in bondage to the devil and has not had a chance to be near the Lord!

more than ever i'm realising my constant need for prayers & to be in prayer for others!
am involved in outreach to new intl students this week.. started yesterday -- Was only out for 2 hrs today (10-12) & came home surprisingly TIRED, having a BIG
LOOOONG NAP! So if today is anything like yesterday, I mightn't be able to attend English corner :(
.. Same thing happened earlier this yr when I overestimated my energy levels :O

.. BUT!! Father IS ABLE to do miracles! ;)
maybe i'm just trying to do too much?!
Father will supply all grace for what He wants done :)
please pray for wisdom to discern what He wants me to do at the right time!!
also for grace + wisdom in dealing with someone who's really exhausting my patience :S
- might be a handful of us today (only 3 of us yesterday!) to meet the students HE appoints for us to meet, friendships to be established & nurtured FOR ETERNAL IMPACT! :)

The Church in Mongolia was in its infancy when sharp disputes broke out between different missionaries in regards to what they should call God in the Mongolian Bible. But through it all, the Mongolian Church survived, and it is now growing and flourishing. Perhaps the people involved in this dispute learned what the Moravians learned when they could not get along: the answer to disagreements is prayer. The Moravians began a 24/7 prayer watch that lasted over 100 years. As they began sending over 2,000 missionaries, their disputes seemed rather unimportant.

Pray for God's hand to guide missionaries working in this still young mission field.

"For there is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus…" I Tim. 2:5
This verse shows how narrow and inflexible our faith is. The person who reads this, be they a Buddhist, a Muslim, a Hindu, or a secularist, is faced with only one mediator between God and man. How hard it is to accept this, but how necessary it is!

Pray that the Holy Spirit will give the unreached peopleS of the world the humanly impossible faith to believe and act on the fact that Jesus is their only way to God.

.. it had to happen sooner or later .. i visited my G.P. for some blood test results to monitor my levels of valpro [medication I take to prevent epileptic fits resulting from my brain injury] .. aaaand it turned out I had High cholesterol & High uric acid levels .. even higher than my dads! >_<
Oh well, just another thing that makes me long for the perfection of heaven! . . .
But I’m a hopeless sucker for being my own worst enemy when it comes to health / anything good for me :(
Time to get serious about my health .. I must be getting old! :P
maybe this is Fathers' funny way of answering my prayers to be rid of the idol of food i’d made & often paid homage to! :) so it looks like my reputation as ‘the human rubbish bin’ will die!

NNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Have my earthly days of taking pleasure in what I eat been brought to sudden death?

she was the an optus customer service rep i just spoke to about transferring credit from one prepaid mobile to another. all went well, then at the end she asked "is there anything else i could do for you today?"
i told her that i had an important message to share with her, referring her to www.fathersloveletter.com which is translated to many languages which is perfect as most customer service reps i talk to are from all different parts of the world!

:D the ways He's used the internet to communicate His gospel to the lost!

why not share this (or your own favorite evangelistic website) with those strangers Father brings you into contact with? on the internet / phone etc?!

i wonder how many lost souls Christians speak to, yet we just let the opportunity slide without directing them to Jesus in some way?!

.. it seems i ’m ever discovering new depths of my “relational retardedness” :(
.. so confused ..
I don’t think I really know what it is to be a true friend. So many times I’ve been shown beautiful friendship from others, yet time & again if I don’t turn it into an idol, I’d push away - - even if they keep reaching out, I’m still unsure bout reaching back :S
Though I have every reason to accept the friendship from them, I think I still have this thought in the back of my head “It’s only a matter of time before I do / say something dumb to hurt them, getting close enough to cut them deeply” . . .:(
I don’t want to live bound to my past relational failures, but I’m struggling . . . really struggling to live truly free from them :(
... maybe I’m sill holding onto the lies that “I’m not good enough” to be anyone’s friend?

"Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many." II Cor. 1:11
One of the key elements in extending God's Kingdom is turning people's hearts from praying to worthless idols to praying to the One True God. To do so takes faith that He will answer out of His goodness and power. This extends God's Kingdom to nations that formerly didn't recognize Him as the King of Kings. But God's domain also extends further when believers, like the ones Paul is referring to, give thanks when their prayers are answered.

Pray that God will extend His Kingdom in your heart by giving you greater gratitude when He answers your prayers

:D He is a God who hears & acts to help those who look to Him, so there is no need for fear!

:D bringing Carol & Ting Ru to help take half the group which would otherwise be unmangably large for me to handle by myself!

*PRAY*

* stir up a hunger in these precious souls to want to know The One who Alone can help them overcome their fears!

* use their fears in life to drive them to The One who is Perfect Love & drives out all fears!
* we'd see these dear lost souls in heaven, loving Jesus much because they received revelaion of Jesus, along with others who're there because they didn't keep Fathers' love to themselves!!
* work by His Spirit through all the 'English corners' globally to draw lost souls into Living, Personal Relationship with Himself! see http://www.youroztown.com/ - look for the "World Free English Classes Timetable"
* Nations would be impacted as they send their bright future leaders abroad to study English to add to the multi-cultural beauty of Christ's Bride, The Church!

- our new baby sister in Jesus~!! :D
she's been "tagging along" to various Intenational Student Ministry Activities [English Conversation classes, Bible Studies, even our Youth Fellowship too! More for fun & frirendship i think, but today she wanted to join the prayer meeting (a first!) & two brothers were able, by God's grace to share Jesus with her in her mother tongue :)
- though i'm never entirely convinced these days that simply because someone "prayed a prayer to accept Jesus they're Christian" it's a start, i guess ...

- those i met through conversation corner yesterday :)

i packed a bible to give to a friend i was meeting to help sort out her problems with optus but i forgot to pass it to her >_<>

.. i always find it a bit daunting being the only "teacher" there for the 1st hour & having a table full of internationals to myself .. after getting everyone introduced, for the most part they were happy to chat mongst themselves. i was able to have a decent chat with Yuri & Yuka, and later 'rush' in a gospel presentation with Eileen ... talked to Raymond on the bus - he thinks he's right with God but speaks the language of religion .. :

praise & pray for the [M.E.R.] (Marriage Enrichment Retreat) - THIS weekend!

if you're wondering why i post on anything marriage related, given my die-hard determination to stay single,[:P] it's cos my blessed parents are involved, after having their marriage rescued from the rocks!]=

:D the marriages that've been saved/enriched through these retreats!
:D NOTHING the enemy tries to do to destroy God's institution will prevail!
:D the great team of leading couples involved, united in heart & purpose!
*PRAY*
* OPEN, TEACHABLE hearts & ears to hear & receive God's Word that bears fruit to His glory!
* lasting life change & application of all that'll be learnt!
* marriages would change to look more like earthly reflections of the Divine marriage between Christ & His church!
* Christ be made to look great through the marriages of His people!
* keep drawing unsaved spouses to Jesus through the love, life-and-word witness of their saved spouses & friends!
* thwart every evil scheme of the stealer, killer & destroyer of love & lives, that Jesus would have the manifest preemimence in ALL THINGS!
* sustain & strengthen the leading couples (only 2 leading couples taking care of 17 couples)
