.. he seems to have quite a bleak outlook on the world .. life in general & searching for hope. i shared with him some awesome revelation Shane Willard imparted abut the thread throughout scripture & nature of how hope floes through the land of suffering & produces pure gold - ultimately culminating in the hope that flowed through Jesus' suffering & producing salvation for humanity!

* Yoshi would find Hope & Life through personal relationship with the suffering Saviour!

Dear Jesus, please forgive me if I have put my own needs before loving and following You. Help me to put You first in my life in every area. I trust You with my needs, knowing You know them all. My healing is in Your hands and Your time. I want to be Your disciple today and for all of my days, seeking Your Kingdom above all else. Amen.

After a beautiful weekend at Warwick, I was challenged by how the person of Jesus confronts:
* our culture that prizes independence [when God values DEPENDENCE]

* our culture that chases materialism [when chasing God ONLY can truly satisfy our every need & desire!]

* our culture that worships sport [when God ALONE is of worth to be worshipped!]

* our culture that seeks to connect with The 'Divine' & experience this connection in all sorts of silly ways (eg crystals, new age stuff) [when  Jesus simply says 'come to Me' to be filled & connected & deeply experience The Divine!]

* our largely ungrateful culture where complaining is the norm [when God’s will for us is to give thanks in everything & for everything!]

* our sexually supercharged culture that cheapens sex to a worthless physical act when [God gives us the very best way to enjoy this great gift of sex in a MOST life-ENHANCING way rather than a destructive way

* I’d cooperate with Him on the journey to healing & freedom He's got me on!

* help me to consciously & deliberately put on The Lord Jesus Christ so: + His mind becomes mine.

+ His eyes become mine + His ears become mine + His hands, feet & mouth become mine + His heart becomes mine + His servanthood becomes the way I serve. + His humility & gentleness becomes my character!

* help me not be so ‘aloof’ so i can connect better with people & not make them feel bad! [your help & rebukes would be most helpful so I can ‘relearn’ what it is to ‘talk normal’ again!!

* I’d let my JOY in Jesus be contagious!!!

* God's kindness in giving him this job would lead him to repentance!!

* his dry eyes have become quite a severe hindrance to his health - so before we parted i got to pray for him .. don't think I've got the gift of healing nor do i know how to 'properly' pray for healing .. but i do have relationship with a God who heals & loves to reveal Himself in signs & wonders .. could this be the big breakthrough for Yoshi?! please pray!

a cousin of an ex- English corner student, he's here on a working holiday ...

pray with me during his time here he encounters The One who invites him to Eternal Rest!

duno why i don't do this more .. but to be real i must also post my 'failings' as well huh?

i was on a bus [getting my pensioner day cap XD]  & saw a guy with some sorta syndrome .. he talked & walked rather abnormally ... a twisted, living picture of sin disfiguring & distorting the good creation of God.

i got off the same stop & said good morning to his carer, feeling 'prompted' to pray for him & release Jesus' healing & restoration ... but they went in a different direction & i walked away feeling I'd just abandoned an opportunity to invite God to invade our natural realm in His super ways!.. :"( 

just because i'm on holidays from my course on living the supernatural life, i have no excuse to pass up opportunities to bring the supernatural to invade earth because of my fear / apathy :"(

so in the end i'm not sure who needs prayer more - him or me who still chooses at times to live an abnormal life by not pursuing heaven's invasion of earth!

... the word would be vastly different if we who have tasted & experienced His supernatural workings in our lives would all avail ourselves to be channels of heavenly invasions on earth!

not sure why so many times i an go out with the intention of doing something eternally significant, only to let opportunities pass / fail to 'make' anything happen .. :S

Wow.. with all the falls, accidents & incidents that have happened, I never thought I’d ever reach 30!!

Like never before, I see every moment of life as a gift of Papa’s lavish grace & goodness!!

The fear of God and faith are closely related. People of faith are also realists, they just have their foundation in a superior reality.

Though I’ve been battling feelings of relational discontent & disconnectedness

(general shallowness that seems to characterise the majority of my interactions with people … I thrive on the deeper stuff that really connects – the connection we were made for! .. maybe I’m just wanting too much too soon from people) .. yet even there Papa has been graciously faithful to meet my needs.. and i’m sure He will continue to!

Surely goodness & mercy have, and will keep following me, all the days of my life!!

*  I wouldn’t be shy about challenging people with this book!!

You _could_ also pray for people to be dawn to the table & curious, but I think Papa’s wanting me to ‘step out’ & be (a lot!) more proactive!!

* help me live a life of courage – telling the story of who I am with my whole heart!

* help me live more vulnerably so I can connect with people more deeply!

* help me not live too cautiously, avoiding all possible scenarios of pain!

* help me live out a life where Father is THE goal & purpose of my life!

* I’d make my home in Jesus’ love!

* grow me in greater intimate & organic connection with Jesus!

* my life be one of constantly bringing glory to Him!!

Prayer leaders, Intercessors and praying people of all ages are invited to a once-in-a generation gathering, an encounter with the Lord God Almighty, together with Christian leaders from around the world at the World Prayer


Assembly (May 14-18, 2012) will take place in the midst of a spiritual revival that is taking place in the nation of Indonesia. Millions of Indonesians are now connected in prayer for their nation. 24/7 "prayer "towers" are operating in many cities and over two hundred thousand trained child intercessors are crying out to God for the transformation of their nation.

All of this is taking place in the largest Muslim-populated country.
The Lord is moving in this vast archipelago of 17,000 islands with many diverse people groups. The Church has united in an extraordinary way, creating an environment for spiritual and societal transformation that is spreading across the region. Thousands of prayer, mission and marketplace leaders, along with on-fire youth and children, will gather in Jakarta to seek the Lord together in a new paradigm for an international congress. Like the five leaders at Antioch (Acts 13:1-3), we will "let God be God" and seek Him together for His strategies of "prayer-action" for our hurting world.


It was the first International Prayer Assembly, almost 30 years ago in Seoul, Korea in 1984 where the seeds for the current global prayer movement were sown. Korea will serve as the co-host for the WPA with Indonesia.


Special track sessions will create a forum for participants to focus on international issues, cutting-edge models of ministry, and ministry spheres for which they have a passion. And, while there will be world-renowned presenters and facilitators for both plenary and track sessions we want to most importantly hear from the Lord Himself.

The WPA will be led inter-generationally, with youth and children helping to facilitate many sessions. All speakers will share only briefly and in a way that facilitates our time of encounter with God and one another in prayer.


There will also be strong youth and children tracks. This will help launch the next generation of men and women of God to lead the prayer and mission movements to impact the nations. We believe the WPA will be a stepping stone to the fulfilment of the prophet's prediction that "the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea "and be a direct answer of Jesus' prayer in John 17 as Christ's people unite in prayer around the world.


On May 17, we will gather in the national stadium with 100,000 others, including 20,000 children and 20,000 youth. Our Indonesian colleagues anticipate 200 cities of Indonesia to host simultaneous gatherings, connected by live television. .. but far too many of us have the wrong  view - as if we're the dwarfs & the enemy is the giant ...

may we  walk in our noble identity & ROYAL destiny as a son / daughter of The King of kings, with all the authority & dominion He’s given us~! :) .. I’m sure the enemy would love to keep us from realising the truth of our true identity so we won’t walk in it :[

.. I had a sleep study on 7/3 in hopes that it’d reveal the cause of my low sleep quality.. but I’m seriously doubtful as they had to wake me several times to fiddle with wires attached to me! :S

.. I was part of the  intercessors team for the recent Charles Kraft freedom conference – major major spiritual warfare raging, during which my whole body broke out in crazy itching like I’ve never experienced before L  .. hives?! Anyone know of any good natural cures?

:D He’s given me NO reason to fear intimacy anymore!! Because He has seen all of me, naked with all shame & guilt I once called my own, and He didn’t hurt me in my vulnerability, but drew near to me to be a safe place, accepting & loving me for who I really am!!

I AM NOT SIN!

I AM NOT SHAME!!  

I AM LOVED!!! I AM ACCEPTED!!! I AM WANTED!!!

:D His delays aren’t denials but opportunities to bring greater glory to God (And grow my faith in You)!!

:D as an ambassador of Heaven’s Kingdom on earth, I don’t need to ask God to invade circumstances but I can command mountains to be removed as I pray in Jesus’ Name!!

:D the incredible authority we’ve been given as kids of The King to live in dominion over all that opposes His Kingdom!

* I’d keep live in my identity as a beloved Son of Abba in whom He is well pleased, and not out of a false identity of devaluing myself!

he's really stressing out about it .. to the point of not being able to rest at night! 

Papa spoke to me in the morning in John 9 [Jesus healing the man born blind] about seeing "bad" situations as occasions for His glory .. and the EMT course is really encouraging me to look at the unseen realities, which are of greater eternal substance than what's of seen reality.

so it felt a little weird, but i asked if i could pray with him, for him. [1st time in our friendship of 9 yrs .. WHY has it taken me so long??!!

 

do declare with me these words over him & his family & national situation:

.. he's still not certain he is a Christian .. still has doubts .. 

* establish Sam's heart in faith that he would be secure in God's love for him that triumphs over every doubt!

* grow Sam daily in the revelation of Christ to be a bringer of that Revelation to others!

he has 44 days left in Aus.. 

apparently he had an encounter with some Christians on the street who told him about the Adam & Eve story .. he had some questions from that .. great how the conversation naturally led to spiritual matters of sin, judgment & God's Love! .. gotta keep pointing him to The Saviour~!
