last Thursday, a day with many things gone wrong [my own stupidity :] Papa set up a Divine Appointment with Matt! he sat next to me on the bus
[tip: whenever possible, ALWAYS leave an empty seat next to you when sitting on public transport: you never know who Papa might send your way!]
i confess i personally prefer not to share the gospel with "Aussies" as i find the majority of them unresponsive & hardened against the gospel. :[
Matt's brother & father are "into Jesus but it's not for me" ...
he was unresponsive & hardened against the gospel, but out of love for Jesus & Matt's soul, i still went through the gospel with him using WDJD & Paul Washer's advice [see link at bottom]
i fully believe i too would be unresponsive & hardened against the gospel if it weren't for His AMAZING GRACE!
... brothers & sisters, WE have The Words of Eternal Life .. WE have been made to live again .. WE have The Words of Eternal Life .. HOW could we ever keep them in?!!!!
:D He's FULL of mercy & compassion, even to snners like us!
:D Jesus seeks & saves the lost .. and chooses to use frail, weak, common vessels like you & me!
:D giving Matt understanding of the gospel as i shared!
*PRAY*
* Christ manifest His victory & preemimence over every obstacle hindering Matt from coming to Jesus in repentance & faith!
* reveal Christ as INFINITELY desirable & INFINITELY satisfying to Matt, bringing him to True Repentance & Faith before it's too late!
* we'd see Matt in heaven worshipping The Lamb because He's Worthy!! along with others there because he in turn passed on this gospel & didn't keep it to himself!
* have mercy on Matt, work supernaturally in his heart to forsake sin, follow Jesus, the Son of God in a life of faith! & not let him waste his life giving glory to any other than The One who made him & gave His life for him!
* bring more Divine Appointments his way throughout his life to help open his blind eyes, unstop his deaf ears & enliven his dead heart to receive True Life!
* shake him out of his apathy toward the eriousness of eternity, reveal to him the serious IMMIMENCY of heaven & hell & drive him to the foot of the cross!
