those i met through English corner on Tuesday! [discussed Faith]

:D PRAISE! :D

:D bringing them here!

:D in a world full of unfaithful people, there is One who is ALWAYS FAITHFUL - Jesus!

:D the spontaneous testimonies shared by believers to the non-believers of Jesus, Their Faithful Friend!!

:D PRAISE! :D
:D bringing them here!

:D Father wants people from ALL NATIONS to come & trust in Him!

*PRAY*

* stir up a hunger in these precious souls to want to know Jesus, The One who Alone is Truly Faithul!

* we'd see these dear lost souls in heaven, loving Jesus much because they received revelation of Jesus, along with others who're there because they didn't keep the treasure of His Kingdom to themselves!!

* work by His Spirit through all the 'English corners' globally to draw lost souls into Living, Personal Relationship with Himself! see www.yourenglishcorner.net/ - look for the "World Free English Classes Timetable"

* Nations would be impacted as they send their bright future leaders abroad to study English, to add to the multi-cultural beauty of Christ's Bride, The Church!

* have mercy on them & send them back 'home' eternally-changed souls, to join the missionary force He's raising up there!

* provide them with friendships / accomodation/jobs/ that will go towards the ends prayed for above :)

* raise up laborers for the harvest to help in these English Corners!

* bless Tabby as she leaves us to go back home to Cairns, God wiling, to start an English corner there!
* PLEEEASE not let the other theatre we normally use be double booked so we can spread out & not all have to cram into the one room with high noise levels that are counter productive to teaching! :(

~thanks~!GOD WORKS WHEN WE PRAY~!!*** ETERNITY WILL SHOW THE FULL FRUIT OF OUR PRAYERS- BE ENCOURAGED!!***

pray for the buddhists!!

After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. Revelation 7:9

In a way, those who adhere to the “Greater Vehicle” sector of Buddhism may understand certain spiritual matters better than marginal believers in Christ. They understand the importance of worldwide salvation. The problem is that the focus of their spirituality is not Jesus Christ, the One who will be worshipped by some from every nation, tribe, people and language.

Pray that soon members of Buddhism’s “Greater Vehicle” will understand that their desire for worldwide salvation leads them to Jesus, the only Savior.

missions focus weekend! [26-27/8]

a NEW! mission conference - i have been asked to fill in as a rep for IEM [India Evangelical Mission] & as usual, i'm feeling entirely inadequate~!

.. but though I *hardly* feel up to being a 'Rep' for IEM, I guess that qualifies me in Kingdom economy huh? :P
Father spoke to me through this His Word in Mark 10 about being a servant & a slave to all.

But i would DEFINITELY PREFER if someone could help me / stand in to do a better job .. ;)
would appreciate your prayers that i do a good job at representing IEM + for this event to really ignite His mission heart in the hearts of all who come!

~thanks~!GOD WORKS WHEN WE PRAY~!!*** ETERNITY WILL SHOW THE FULL FRUIT OF OUR PRAYERS- BE ENCOURAGED!!***

NOTHING'S ever "random" pray for Martina

on the way to a prayer meeting i didn't want to go to, met
Martina, a precious prodigal daughter, but _GREATLY LOVED!!_
pray for her to come back home~!

the pefect song that came to my heart reflecting on tonight -

"Does anybody hear her" by Casting Crowns

lyrics below
or watch the video to listen - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOyYlUYbNjE

She is running

A hundred miles an hour in the wrong direction

She is trying but the canyon's ever widening

In the depths of her cold heart

So she sets out on another misadventure just to find

She's another two years older

And she's three more steps behind

Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?

Or does anybody even know she's going down today?

Under the shadow of our steeple

With all the lost and lonely people

Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me

Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?

She is yearning for shelter and affection

That she never found at home

She is searching for a hero to ride in

To ride in and save the day

And in walks her prince charming

And he knows just what to say

Momentary lapse of reason

And she gives herself away

Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?

Or does anybody even know she's going down today?

Under the shadow of our steeple

With all the lost and lonely people

Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me

Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?

If judgment looms under every steeple

If lofty glances from lofty people

Can't see past her scarlet letter

And we've never even met her

If judgment looms under every steeple

If lofty glances from lofty people

Can't see past her scarlet letter

And we've never even met her

Never even met her, never even met her

Does anybody hear her? Does anybody see?

Or does anybody even know she's going down today?

Under the shadow of our steeple

With all the lost and lonely people

Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me

Does anybody hear her? Does anybody see?

Does anybody even know she's going down today?

Under the shadow of our steeple

With all the lost and lonely people

Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me

Does anybody hear her? Does anybody see?

He is running a hundred miles an hour

In the wrong direction

more to come :P
.. more to come~!

pray for us!

Snatch others from the fire and save them. Jude 23

How human it is for us to be concerned primarily with our own salvation. Our own welfare is a natural concern. But it is wrong to stop there. We must be concerned for the spiritual safety and security of others also. Remember God’s challenge to Ezekiel: If you warn them and they do not listen, that is their responsibility. If you do not warn them and they perish, I will hold you responsible (Ezekiel 33:8-9, paraphrased). That is a great challenge to us as we think of those who still have not heard the gospel!

Pray that the Holy Spirit will help us to be faithful to share Christ with the unreached peoples. Pray that we will have boldness to not fear rejection and scorn. Pray that He will give us the same courage He gave to Ezekiel to warn others of the judgment awaiting those who reject His grace.

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.  1 John 4:4

Jesus promised that His Church would assault the gates of hell and that those gates would fall. His Church is actively marching forward to conquer rebel territory and bring it into submission to the king of kings. Our battle is not physical—between men, but spiritual—within men’s hearts and minds. And we are assured of victory because our champion, Jesus Christ, has defeated Satan in individual combat. Truly, the One who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world.

Acknowledge Christ Jesus as the victor over sin and Satan. Pray that He will establish His Church in every remaining unreached people.

rejoice with me & pray for me~!!

An encouraging devotional from Chip Brogden:

"For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to Whom be glory for ever. Amen" (Romans 11:36).

We ought to meditate on this daily and ask the Lord to open our eyes to see the height, depth, width, length, and breadth of this JESUS Whom we say we serve. May God deliver us from our own idea, concept, perception, and illusion of a small Christ and give us revelation into the preeminence of His Son.

When we see Christ as All in All then it will be impossible for us to ever again be reduced to the small, the unimportant, the insignificant things which occupy us and waste so much of our time. Our only hope is seeing a Christ that fills us, a Christ that is greater than us, a Christ that is larger than we can understand, an indescribable Christ that overshadows, overwhelms, and consumes us through and through!

once again, my praying friends, I Humbly ask your prayers as we journey on to HIM! :)

if you have any questions / comments of my life, Don’t be shy~! my life's an open book ;)

++ praise & prayer points from previous prayer posts mostly still apply, but for the sake of space I’ll leave them out ;)

:D rejoice with me! :D

:D nothing in my past is relevant when I’m in Christ NOW!

:D *constantly* amazing me by His AMAZING GRACE~!

:D all my sins are lost in His sea of forgetfulness~! see - http://www.gracewalk.org/apps/articles/web/articleid/28398/columnid/0/default.asp
:D sustaining me as I recover from the 4th cold I’ve caught this winter with =ever-increasing= joy, thankfulness & hope!

:D bringing me closer to Himself through all these repeated sicknesses~!

:D lifting me up when I all-too-easily sink into pits of self-despair!
*PRAY*

* keep my eyes open to see Christ as All in All~!

* I’d respond to what God needs, NOT merely what people need!

* I’d go only WHEN I am sent, only WHERE I am sent, and speaking only to WHOM I am sent.

* help me be completely governed by the Spirit!!

See great article: http://theschoolofchrist.org/articles/to-whom-am-i-sent.html

* empower me to do what I know I ought to do but so often fail to – my stupidity abounds! :S
* I’d walk FORWARDS, focusing on all He is & has for me, NOT backwards! - focusing on my past!)

love Aye-bul, Your Friend in Prayer =D

The one concern of the devil

is to keep Christians from praying.

He fears nothing from prayerless studies,

prayerless work, and prayerless religion.

He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom,

but trembles when we pray.

We have to stop looking at prayer

as the spare tire in the trunk

and start seeing it as the steering wheel.

pray for us!

Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them. Hebrews 11:16

How easy it is for us to be caught up in trivial affairs. God wants our vision to be fixed on what is eternally meaningful—proclaiming and demonstrating that He is King, and living with heaven in view. God delights in His children who dream His dreams after Him. Are your dreams too small? Hundreds of years ago Francis Xavier urged his college companions, Give up your small ambitions and come to India!

Pray that God will give us the eyes of faith to see both the joys of heaven and the opportunities of earth.

praise & pray for Julian & Taeseob [KOR]

:D PRAISE! :D

:D God works when His people pray~!!

- really felt i was riding on a wave of prayers - normally Gospel opportunities are few & far between on Thurdays at conversation corner - yesterday it was like they were handed to me on a silver platter~! XD

.. it all started with Julian asking "what is God's message?"

(in follow up to our English corner lesson on Tuesday)

HEYHEY! ** talk about an absolutely _golden_ Gospel opportunity~!!

why not order the tract to spread the gospel for yourself?!

at $6/ per pack of 100, even i'd go for that!!

see:

http://onemilliontracts.com.au/Million-dollar-note-paper

. . . not sure how much he understood of what i told him so i gave him a million dollar tract - Taeseob was curious so i passed him one too~! even though he was unwilling to humble himself & submit to The Truth, holding onto his own "truth", i don't doubt Father's ability to break through one bit~!

do rejoice with me in opportunities to invest in their eternal welfare & pray with me The Good Shepherd saves their lost souls~!

*~*~ PRAISE~!! & pray for Chuck

WOOHOO!!! [see previous post on Chuck on 23/4/10!]

:D PRAISE! :D

:D God works when His people pray~!!

:D working in Chuck's life to bring him to repentance & trust in Jesus~!

:D blesing me with the opporunity to catch up with all Father's been doing in His life since the last time we lunched together~!

:D just smile . .. :D

*PRAY*

* daily bring Chuck into a deeper revelation of who He is & His love for him!

* grow in Chuck a deep desire to express His love to Father in a life of loving OBEDIENCE!

* help him as he "works out his salvation with fear & trembling" to be a FISHER OF MEN!!

pray for the unreached!!

They sacrificed to demons, which are not God—gods they had not known, gods that recently appeared, gods your fathers did not fear. Deuteronomy 32:17

Though it is not polite to mention it, Tibetan Buddhism is riddled with idolatry. In this chapter of Deuteronomy, God calls idols “detestable” and the gods that they represent “demons.” Worshipping such spirit beings robs God of His rightful place as Lord of the Universe and keep fallen mankind from having the peace and joy that God wants them to have. If this is the way God views idolatry, should we see it any differently?
Pray that God will open the eyes of the Zangskari people so they will see the spiritual damage they are doing. Pray for repentant hearts that will fully embrace the God of the Universe.

O Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with Him is full redemption. Psalm 130:7

Notice the contrast between what God’s Word tells the Israelites to do and what the Stod-Bhoti people are doing. The latter group lives in constant fear of evil spirits who hate them and want to do them harm. By contrast the Lord loves His children and redeems them from sin. This is why we are praying for such people groups this month!

Pray that the Stod-Bhoti people will put their hope in the Lord and enjoy His unfailing love and redemption.

pray for us!

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Hebrews 12:1

This verse follows the long description of those who by faith conquered and of those who by faith endured. All were faithful witnesses in their day, and all watch to see if we also will be faithful witnesses. In today’s world, there are many such witnesses like Stephanie Vernon who have gone out by faith in the God of Abraham, and given their lives to see Him glorified among the nations.

Pray that each of us will give our all to see Him glorified.

pray for the Alxa Mongols!!

“…our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit, and with deep conviction.” 1 Thessalonians 1:5

Deep conviction! This is what the Alxa Mongols must have to remain faithful to Islam. They are standing alone among those who practice other religious faiths. Sometimes they are not accepted, even by other Mongol peoples. Only God’s Spirit, moving and working in the hearts of each people group, will draw them to the conviction that only Christ can save sinners.

Pray for the Alxa Mongols to soon have a deep conviction that Jesus is the only way, the only truth and the only light of the world.

pray for Takashi [JAP]

from Monday Night's prayer classes we learnt that

PRAYER + EVANGELISM (with Holy Spirit Power) produces (in God's time) THE SALVATION OF SOULS!

i felt like i was walking on "prayer clouds" (somewhat) during my time with Takashi yesterday!
i felt very blessed as he share his life with me & gave me interesting insights into Japanese culture  (eg their excitement at peeling off sunburnt skin) & why they regard religions with suspicion . . .

:D blessing me with a good, cheap phone plan ($9.90/mth) that lets me sms out to my prayer supporters fairly frequently ;)

[if you don't receive my prayer smses & would like to, let me know! :D]

:D taking control of our time together over lunch!:D  blessing us with $3 off vouchers at the Wintergarden Food Court for a a good, cheap lunch! ;) ($2.20=tuna sandwhich with cheese! X-D)

:D blessing Brisbane with so many free English conversation classes for people like Takashi to go to!
:D blessing Takashi with a good spiritual family to attend

(see http://www.engagecitychurch.com/)
:D blessing me with an opportunity to share the gospel with him -
- through asking if he's come to learn more about Jesus during his stay in Aus (he's going back soon), he talked about Christmas & Easter - i asked if he understood how it affects his life NOW, giving a natural door opener to sharing the gospel!! :)
- he was convicted of sin, fearful of the certainty of the hell he's headed to & willing to repent & trust Jesus . .. said he'd do that as soon as possible (knowing the brevity & unpredictability of life!).. i asked him if there was anything holding him back from doing that now? i think he still has questions . . . do pray for his salvation!!!
*PRAY*

Christ manifest His victory & preemimence over every obstacle hindering Takashi from coming to Jesus in repentance & faith! before it's too late!~thanks~! GOD WORKS WHEN WE PRAY~!!*** ETERNITY WILL SHOW THE FULL FRUIT OF OUR PRAYERS***

* give Takashi open eyes to see Jesus, The Lover of his soul & ears to hear Jesus calling him by name, drawing him to Himself & a heart to respond to His Word in faith to pass from death to life!

"I can guarantee this truth: Those who listen to what I say and believe in the one who sent me will have eternal life. They won't be judged because they have already passed from death to life." - Jesus John 5:24

* God in His mercy would not let Takashi waste his life giving glory to anyone/anything else but save him so he might bring glory & pleasure to Jesus!

* have mercy on Takashi, send him back 'home' an eternally-changed soul, to join the missionary force He's raising up there & linkhim to a good body of believers he can encourage & be encouraged by in The Faith!

* give us grace to embrace 'foreign strangers' & lovingly show them the way to the Fathers' love, not wasting a moment in our selfish precoccupations & distractions but redeeming the time - Judgment Day is coming soon!

(yes, i too easily give in to selfish indifference to the fate of lost souls too :-(
