PRAYER + EVANGELISM (with Holy Spirit Power) produces (in God's time) THE SALVATION OF SOULS!
i felt like i was walking on "prayer clouds" (somewhat) during my time with Takashi yesterday!
i felt very blessed as he share his life with me & gave me interesting insights into Japanese culture (eg their excitement at peeling off sunburnt skin) & why they regard religions with suspicion . . .
:D blessing me with a good, cheap phone plan ($9.90/mth) that lets me sms out to my prayer supporters fairly frequently ;)

:D blessing me with an opportunity to share the gospel with him -
- through asking if he's come to learn more about Jesus during his stay in Aus (he's going back soon), he talked about Christmas & Easter - i asked if he understood how it affects his life NOW, giving a natural door opener to sharing the gospel!! :)
- he was convicted of sin, fearful of the certainty of the hell he's headed to & willing to repent & trust Jesus . .. said he'd do that as soon as possible (knowing the brevity & unpredictability of life!).. i asked him if there was anything holding him back from doing that now? i think he still has questions . . . do pray for his salvation!!!

Christ manifest His victory & preemimence over every obstacle hindering Takashi from coming to Jesus in repentance & faith! before it's too late!~thanks~! GOD WORKS WHEN WE PRAY~!!*** ETERNITY WILL SHOW THE FULL FRUIT OF OUR PRAYERS***
* give Takashi open eyes to see Jesus, The Lover of his soul & ears to hear Jesus calling him by name, drawing him to Himself & a heart to respond to His Word in faith to pass from death to life!

* God in His mercy would not let Takashi waste his life giving glory to anyone/anything else but save him so he might bring glory & pleasure to Jesus!
* have mercy on Takashi, send him back 'home' an eternally-changed soul, to join the missionary force He's raising up there & linkhim to a good body of believers he can encourage & be encouraged by in The Faith!
* give us grace to embrace 'foreign strangers' & lovingly show them the way to the Fathers' love, not wasting a moment in our selfish precoccupations & distractions but redeeming the time - Judgment Day is coming soon!
(yes, i too easily give in to selfish indifference to the fate of lost souls too :-(
