praise & pray for Muslim outreach on Gold Coast (July 2-9)

please use the points below [only as a guide!] to pray for us reaching out to muslims He's brought to us for the duration of the outreach :)

:D PRAISE! :D *pray*
Sun 1st
:D He's the Only True God, and He's made Himself known to us! (Is 44:8, 64:4)
:D He desires that none should perish but all come to repentance! (2 Peter 3:9)
* Muslims will understand God's desire for everyone to relate to Him as children, not as slaves.
(Galatians 4:7) (Matthew 18:3)
* arrange Divinely-appointed gospel conversations on the trip to Surfers Paradise
* give us His heart filled with love and compassion for Muslims.
* prepare hearts of muslims to receive gospel seeds!
* good health, strength & rest for the team & all who come to teach us
* total recovery from this flu I've got would be great, so I don't "infect" fellow team members/muslims we meet with anything but God's Holiness!

Mon 2nd
:D Jesus calls us out of darkness & into His marvellous light to declare His praises! (1 Peter 2:9)
* give muslims a distinct hunger to escape their dark religion & call them into His light to declare His praises! (1 Peter 2:9)
* expose Islam for the lie & deception it is!
* help us to faithfully, lovingly & prayerfully point Muslims to The One who is The Way, The Truth & The Life! (John 14:6)

Tue 3rd
:D Jesus is The Way, The Truth & The Life! (John 14:6)
* expose Islam for the deathly, wayward LIE it is!
* help us to faithfully, lovingly & prayerfully Live lives that demonstrate The One who is The Truth ! (John 14:6)

Wed 4th
:D showing us perfect love, love that drives out all fear! (1 John 4:18)
* Pray against the fear that influences many Muslims.
(1 John 4:18)
* give us His perfect love for Muslims that consumes our fears of sharing the gospel with them!

Thu 5th
:D He relents from sending disaster (Joel 2:13)
* bring true conviction of sin in the souls of muslims & create new life. (John 16:8)
* lead us to those He's prepared to hear & embrace the gospel!

Fri 6th
:D though He's Holy & perfect, He's personally & intimately concerned for His creation!
* God would open blind eyes & soften hearts.
* we [the team] make time for SOLITUDE - intimacy with Christ alone!

Sat 7th
:D He's a saving God!
* bring muslims to hunger, thirst after & know the assurance of salvation ONLY AVAILABLE through Jesus, something Islam can never offer.
(Ephesians 2:8-9.) (1 Peter 5:6) (Matthew 6:14-15)
* we'd be weak & empty for the Lord to show His perfect strength through!

Sun 8th
:D He's slow to anger, abounding in love & faithfulness! (Ex 34:6, Num14:18, Neh 9:17c,
Ps 86:15,103:8,)
* bring lost muslim souls to experience God's total forgiveness of sins through Jesus the Messiah and thus be able to forgive others.
* we'd seek the Lord for who He is rather than things He gives!
* help us share Christ for who He is, not just what He gives!

Mon 9th
:D He's a God who reveals Himself!
* give Muslims a full revelation of who He really is (Matthew 11:27, Hebrews 8:8-9)
* our love for lost souls would continually consume our fear of sharing the gospel with strangers!

outreach#1 aftermath

:D involving us in the most worthwhile & significant ask given to any human institution - sharing in His plan of the ages!
* water the seeds planted, bring muslims who come into contact with the gospel to become true disciples of Jesus!

outreach #2 - 21-31/7 [more info contact kerstins@ywamgc.com.au]
:D giving us life & bringing us in contact with the gospel when we were in darkness!
* keep using us to carry gospel blessings to those with so little opportunity/contact with the gospel
* we'd not rip ourselves off by living for empty & temporal worldly distractions, but live for the real world - storing up treasures in heaven! (Matthew 6:20)

outreach # 3- 11-21/8
:D despite our poor record of going out to them to carry gospel blessings, He's sovereignly giving us a 2nd chance by bringing them to us!
* we'd repent of our disobedience & obey the Lord's command to take the gospel to all peoples, including the 1 billion + muslims (Mark 16:15)

"Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. (John 14:12-14)

pray in faith and confidence that God will hear us and will move powerfully in answer to our prayers of love and compassion.
