- met him as i got off the bus yesterday, he asked the driver for directions to Queen St mall and since i was headed that way thought i may as well be a spontaneous "tour guide" :P1st stop: nearest toilet.
... found out he wanted to go to the casino :S
in the course of conversation i handed him a $1,000,000 tract, which after glancing at he said "it's ok i believe in God"
[my gut reaction was to take the tract off him & give it to someone whose heart was riper - in retrospect i should've quoted James 2:19 to him - i'm rarely 'on on the ball' in those moments & only now, 24 hours later do i think of it! >_<]
kept talking, and he thought his good deeds could cover over his bad deeds, to which i opposed ... he went off to the casino, reminded him to consider the $1,000,000 message seriously, i walked off to pray.
LORD, HAVE MERCY ON STEVEN!!
*PRAY*
* destroy any false concepts of who God really is in Steven's mind so he might come to know Him as The True, Living Lord of All!
* have mercy on Steven, open his blind eyes, unstop his deaf ears, breathe life into his dead soul! and give him the grace to repent from their sins, to God AND believe in Him!
* cause Steven to flee to the Saviour before it's too late!!
* Sovereignly intervene [i.e. give him other Divine Appointments with other members of our 'body' who'll share the gospel the way Jesus did] in his time here in Brisbane [he's not a local] to send him back 'home' an eternally-changed soul, to join the missionary force He's raising up there!
why not order the $1,000,000 tracts to give away for yourself?
