rejoice with me & pray for me~!!

Dear praying friends, I’m re-learning [again, for the 77654875869th time!] to trust Him to provide for my *every* need & not go grabbing after things He hasn’t given!


.. after all, He’s always given me *everything* I need at *just* the right time, AND in ways *far* better than i could have ever provided for myself – so why try acting independently of Him???!


I’ve Been doing lots of really awesome reading lately :D


Some excerpts:
 God wishes to know if you are in love with Him or if you are in love with things about Him.

God wishes to know if you seek Him for who He is or seek a thing about Him.


This is not the time for resignation or fatalism. It is the time for radical prayer and fasting to the end that all our thinking and all our preaching and all our writing and all our social action and missions will have the aroma of God on it and will carry a transforming thrust far beyond anything mere man could do.

:D faithfully preserving my life from close-calls / near-misses / near-fatal falls!


:D faithfully giving me *just* what I need at *just* the right time – articles read, emails, encouragements, videos etc!

:D I was created to love Him, & to be loved by Him!

*PRAY*


A Question on my mind: “where is the glory of The Lord Jesus in this land?”
 * may He manifest His glory in our lives & the lands we live in!


* I’d desire The Great with great desire!
 * I’d see him in his greatness, and so desire Him in His fullness!
 * show me where I’ think i know things I’m most certain about but actually am ignorant!
 * I’d be driven by a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples!
 * I’d pray that God’s name be hallowed and his kingdom come and his will be done in the earth (Matthew 6:9-10). And yearn, work, pray and fast not only for the final revelation of the Jesus, but for the demonstration of his Spirit and power in the reaching of every people, and the rescuing of the perishing, and the purifying of the church, and the putting right of as many wrongs as God will grant.

* I’d so hunger for private and public displays of the glory of our great God find release in fasting and prayer and every good work.

* I’d stop depending on myself and seek God as my treasure and help!


* in my evangelism I’d not give people “intellectual Christianity” but an encounter with Jesus that alone can save!

* I’d be faithful to speak His message faithfully, not putting it in a ‘nicer package’ & not be concerned about whether it’s well-received or not!
 * strip all religious junk away from my life!!!!!
 * teach me that Jesus is enough, He’s the only One worth pleasing, because He is my source for everything.


* I’d Obey Him even if i have no human guarantee that my needs will be met!
 * He’d teach me to seek and do His will at all costs!


* my way of life would be to wait patiently for revelation of His perfect will, however costly & inconvenient it may be!


* He’d open my eyes to recognise Himself in me!
