English corner may be on break but the relationships formed don't ever go on holidays! :) i've been ringing around trying to make Time with precious souls, all to no avail .. truly my own efforts prove futile in theend .. Father moved keeps gently drawing me back to dependence on Him :)
Father gave me the privelege of lunch with Gang - i'd have to describe the time as nothing less than a beautiful piece of Divinely arranged orchestration :)
it wasn't a case of awkwardly trying to turn the conversation towards Jesus, but everything just flowed in the beautiful freedom of friendship!
(something i've been majorly missing out on & overlooking -- lost souls are people to be related to & loved, not merely someone i must share the gospel with while ignoring who God's made them to be!

:D He came to Aus as an atheist, now he's seeking the truth!
:D all the "kind, happy people with religion" (Gang's words) he met during his stay in Aus that's opened his mind & heart to our God!
:D the wonderful privelege of being able to share The Source of all life & relationship with Gang & be natural about it the whole time!
*PRAY*
* The Good Shepherd would find this precious lost soul in Gang & draw him into relationship with Himself! (Gang speaks much of the putrefying languge of religion - may Father graciously keep him from all such vanity & futility!
* The Lamb of God who was slain would receive the reward for His sufferings in every precious lost soul from the mission field He's brought here caught up in deception!
"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power. for You created everything, and it is for your pleasure they exist and were created - Revelation 4:11
* give Gang open eyes to see Jesus, The Lover of his soul & ears to hear Jesus calling him by name, drawing him to Himself & a heart to respond to His Word in faith to pass from death to life! "I can guarantee this truth: Those who listen to what I say and believe in the one who sent me will have eternal life. They won't be judged because they have already passed from death to life." - Jesus John 5:24
* God in His mercy would not let these precious Chinese waste their lives giving glory to anyone/anything else but save them so they might bring pleasure to Him!
* have mercy on Gang, send him back 'home' an eternally-changed soul, to join the missionary force He's raising up there!
* give us grace to embrace these 'foreign strangers' & lovingly show them the way to the Fathers' love, not wasting a moment in our selfish precoccupations & distractions but redeeming the time - Judgment Day is coming soon!

(yes, i too easily give in to selfish indifference to the fate of lost souls too :-(
