"One of the greatest deceptions the women and girls have is that they can walk away from prostitution anytime they desire. Even if the women are not pimped, demonic hooks keep drawing them into this behavior. Only the power of Christ can truly set them free." Dorothy, from U.S.-based Restoration Ministries, was sharing with a group of women at her church. She said, "One of the greatest things that helped me in my work with women who are trapped in the slavery of sex trafficking and prostitution was when I had the opportunity to work alongside Christian workers with Lady Care Ministries." Lady Care is a reconciliation ministry that offers limited health care, crisis intervention counseling and education for women who are or have been involved in prostitution.
Prostitution is illegal in India, but it is not hard to find women for sale. When offered a bribe, corrupt politicians and police officers overlook it. Poor Indian families sometimes sell their daughters to pimps and brothels. Women in India often are victims of abuse since their society places them in a lower status.

Pray that ministries such as Lady Care and Restoration Ministries will be empowered by God to minister to thousands of women and children. Pray that more Indian men who follow Christ will be living witnesses of God's instruction in the treatment of their wives as found in Ephesians 5:25, that they are to "love their wives as Christ loved the Church."-PD

It's very easy to see God as harsh when you read verses like this in Revelation. But here is one of the verses that demonstrates God's patience with those who desperately need to repent. God is patient with those who worship false gods, but there will come a day when His patience will end. And ultimately, there needs to be a willingness to repent. God has given us a free will.

Pray that ministries like Lady Care will turn many hearts to the One whose heart is loving and patient, yet loves His bride, the Church, more intensely than any husband loves his wife.
