I make a real mess of things when I operate independently of Father :(

.. as I was reading a section on how we deal with the debt of guilt & unforgiveness by transferring it onto another person, I talked to Father: “please don’t let me ever encounter a prostitute – you know how weak I am – I’d hate to transfer the guilt of my sin onto anyone else except myself.” – Suddenly the light switched on - I hadn’t truly realised in my heart of hearts that in spite of all my accumulated head knowledge about the cross and what happened there - I still had in fact _not_ left the full debt of my guilt & shame there at the cross - - but in ways I carried it with me, as if somehow I had to pay for it myself :”(
I highly recommend this book to everyone who calls themselves a “Christian” – I’ve found many soul-issues that have long been undealt with and because they’ve been brought to light, I’m now on the road recovery! X-D

* He’d teach me the art of total surrender to His will, and help me to be like Mary -- not just willing, but enthusiastically willing to submit to His will!
* my all-consuming passion would be to glorify God in my body by staying free from every enslavement but one: the joyful, fulfilling slavery to God!
* slay the pervert in me that seeks regular sexual gratification by means outside His Perfect design :(
* everytime desires for wrong sexual gratification come, I’d very consciously transfer my desire onto Christ!
* keep me from acting on stimulus our sex-saturated society bombards me with!

The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying.
He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayerless religion.
