dear praying friends,

guess what . .. i'm gettin sick again!!!
.. BUT!..


:D rejoice with me! :D

:D letting me have a great conversation with a sister that left me hungering & thirsting more than ever to *really* KNOW Christ - moving on from the cross to the resurrection!


I'M REALLY SICK & TIRED!! Of repeatedly getting mired in the 'Romans 7 experience' - I WANNA MOVE ONTO ROMANS 8 -- !!!


Any tips?

Then another sister lent me the book 'Experiencing the depths of Jesus Christ' by Madam Guyon ... which only added more fuel to the hunger & thirst to *really* KNOW Christ!!


:D thank God for every *blessed* time i get sick! sickness= MORE SWEET TIME WITH HIM!!

more than good health i just want to know Jesus . .. if it takes being sick to know Him more, I AM HAPPY! =D

only this time i think its worse . . . not just a common cold but i think it could be the flu - feeling grossly UNenergetic & have spent the past 23/48 hours in bed :O

:D the vital ministry of intercession can be done in almost any state of health!! :)

so you'll notice i'm NOT asking prayer for good health so much . . .

* grow my experience of Christ as precious for all His character and virtue

* grow my attraction to Christ for all His preciousness!

* Jesus would be SO PRECIOUS to me that the grip of sexual immorality would lose its grip on my heart & mind!

* keep crucifying any self-centeredness in me & make me CHRIST-centered!!

* keep me TOTALLY committed Christ!!!

* give me the eyes of a dove to be & SINGULARLY focused on Christ!!!

* I’d not immerse myself in too much activity to deal with the heart issues that needs to be dealt with! (heh.. getting the flu is a blessed answer to this prayer!)

* rescue me from letting the ‘so much more’ He’s given me from becoming idols & competitors with Him for my attention & affection!

* help me keep my life simple!!!

* give me one pure & holy passion, one glorious ambition, one magnificent obsession, to know Him! & in that sweet all-satisfying knowledge to follow hard after Him!

* help me live a life that demonstrates by sexual purity that Christ is indeed sufficient for my deepest needs & greatest desires!
