pray for people to get ready for Christ's return!!

after my previous 2 posts
"necessary wake up call!"
+ "r u frgrant or stenchly?"

 to talk to strangers out & about .. on buses etc .. the question of the day was "are you ready for Jesus' return?" [which i'd easily get to if people asked how i was & i'd tell them about the wake up call i received that morning!]

.. the 1st guy i talked to, talked as if he's ready but i wasn't so sure .. left him with a 'good person test' gospel tract anyway!
then i talked to a bus driver [probably not the wisest thing to do, but if Jesus is really returning anytime, there are surely bigger priorities than hiding behind my "wise" sounding excuses not to be redeeming the time in these evil days!!]
he also talked as if he's ready for Jesus' return .. but i wasn't so sure .. so  left him with a  gospel tract anyway!after that "negative" experience, i gave in to fear :(

and then ..

the next busdriver i talked to went yuck :(~ as soon as i mentioned "Jesus" & snapped "sit down!!"
.. and so sheepishly, i did :$

 the short trip to the next stop which i was to get off at felt much longer than it ever has
 .. i couldn't help but pray for her soul!!

i thanked her before i got off & told her how i appreciated busdrivers -- no response from her except "don't preach that Jesus stuff to me!"
... wowsers .. somehow just mentioning the Name of Jesus is called preaching?! :P

how anti-Jesus some people can be at just the very mention of His Name!

yet, the very same Jesus she despises & wants to hear nothing of longs for her lost soul to turn away from satan, her sinful self & come back home to Father's house of love!

.. it just struck me this morning in my reading of Matthew 26 how Jesus called his betrayer, Judas "friend", at the last supper and even in the garden as he was betraying The Prince of Glory!!
.. so i think we can pray with confidence that Father wants even those quite openly hostile against Him to come to repentance & faith, that they might LIVE & not die!!
but

[i shouldn't even think of it as "negative"!! to have shared a tiny ittle bit of our Saviour's suffering & experience a little of what He must've felt to the most awful degree, thank God i was found worthy of being identified with The Name Above All Names!! :D 8D =D XD]

[ARRHGHGH!! SILLY STOOPID SHTOOPID FEAR!!! HATE IT!! >.<]
.. yuck .. it felt sooo awesome to be able to speak of His Name & share something of Him after being sooo very slack for sooo long, but how disgustingly easy it is to dive into the ugly depths of indifference again :"(
O! for greater passion for Him that doesn't ever grow dim!! :"(
If Jesus came yesterday, could He say to me, "Well done good and faithful servant. Enter into your rest!"??

We cannot afford to be indifferent towards Jesus and His return.


We can’t afford to be indifferent towards the Holy Spirit who makes us ready for the return of Jesus.

We can’t afford to be indifferent towards the resources that God gives us.

We can’t afford to be indifferent towards lost humanity that will stand in judgment.

* please help me to be taking the right risks for You, so His trust invested in me is increased, not “kept safe”!



* i'd Feed/clothe/visit Jesus in disguise today as an overlooked/ignored/ uncared for “random”!

:D he initiated more of talking about spiritual things, i could really sense The Holy Spirit was working in him, evidently, He waws moving in response to the prayers of the saints!! 8D

* please keep praying with me for him to have a real, personal *revelation* of The Resurrected Jesus for himself -- that'll undo all the damage that's been done by baaad misrepresentations of Jesus by organised religion!! >.<


* may he see the all-urpassing preciousness & worth of Jesus Christ, that he would leave all his old ways / beliefs behind for good! (something he foresees as very hard to do "IF i were to become a christian"

* supernaturally work a miracle inthe sickness of his mother, father & grandmother, and transform the life of his younger brother so that his whole family would be saved!! .. i trust Father to move as we, His children, pray! :D

rejoice with me & pray for me~!!

this Pentecost, I’m hungering even more for the supernatural life He made me to live .. how sad that I’ve opted or such a lowly existence of "controllable" rationality .. no wonder my "witness" =martyrdom for Jesus has been so pathetically weak :(


O, for grace to turn my back on living in the natural .. to live the supernatural, Holy-Spirit empowered Life .. to be a true witness =martyr .. BRING IT ON!! YEAH!!!

Father’s been showing me that for far too long I’ve been a “boat potato” – Now is the time to stop living in the life-choking confines of my fears, and step out into the crazy stormy waves where Jesus is .. and experience the miracle of growth!!

*PRAY*

* help me, in all weak, half-hearted unbelief and distractedness to wholeheartedly love Him!

* I’d delete ‘failure’ from my vocabulary!

* .. my life’s journey would all be about learning to match our Master move-for-move!

* make me a compassionate intercessor, to make the needs of OTHERS my own!!

* help me to have faith in Him especially when I have no idea how You’re going to provide!! Deliver me from trying to figure Him out first before trusting in Him!!

* I’d live by asking Jesus for commands, NOT guarantees, trusting whatever He commands, He enables! ;D

* identify with pure clarity the spiritual gifts He’s given me, not compared with anyone else, developing them with skill, using them joyfully and humbly to serve God and His creation as He made me to be!

* on this adventure with God, He’d give me both courage to take risks and wisdom to know which risks to take!

* so transform my life that it will leave an eternal impact on everything around me, without a single struggle to make it happen!

* build resiliency in me to enlarge my capacity to handle problems so I not only survive, but grow!

* show me how He would you have me built into His living temple with other living stones?!

* help me to learn what really satisfies me, and learn to ask for it, despite feeling wrong / fleshly/selfish!

* help me to learn entitlement and to produce from myself!

* help me simply accept His love and His acceptance of me, just as I am, right where I am, and so change me from the inside out, weakening the stranglehold of sin on me, transforming me -- so contagiously as to spill onto others around me!

really scorching words Jesus fires at the religious leaders & teachers of his day. but it was all spoken out of LOVE!

a. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem: Luke 19:41 tells us that Jesus wept as He looked over the city of Jerusalem, contemplated its coming judgment, and said these words. Jesus wanted to protect them from the terrible judgment that will follow their rejection of Him.


i. It is written that Jesus wept two times: here, at the pain of knowing what would befall those who reject Him, and at Lazurus’ tomb, weeping at the power and pain of death.


i. This heartfelt cry is another way to see that Jesus didn’t hate these men He rebuked so strongly. His heart broke for them. When we sin, God does not hate us, He genuinely weeps for us, knowing that in every way, our sin and rebellion only destroys our life.


iii. May we share God’s broken heart for a lost humanity!

far too often i show i really couldn't care less if people live & die rejecting Christ by my passivity towards them . . . i don't speak up ... i do hold back .. i give in to fear ...


I'm gonna spend some time out to wait on Him, cry out to Him to do the necessary radical heart surgery in me!! .. that my heart be broken over what breaks His heart!

A major billboard campaign has been launched in Sydney declaring that Jesus was a prophet of Islam.However, this statement is misleading as Jesus (or “Isa”) in Islam bears little resemblance to the historical Jesus of the New Testament. To add to the mix, in my spirit I sometimes feel more female than male! ummm.. :S

While I can’t say I’ve fully risen up to manhood, I’m definitely further along the journey than I’ve ever been .. Letting go of my boyish fears of ‘growing up’ is a good start! :D

.. who’d have thought a weekend away being very open, honest & vulnerable in sharing our lives – with all of our wounds, grief’s & hurts could be so life-giving?!

:D Fathers’ helping me to love, accept, esteem & trust myself so I can to love, accept, esteem & trust others!

:D I have value because God says I do, NOT because of anything I do! XD

:D giving me rest in Him, that I don't have to prove my worth / earn His / Anyone else’s approval by things I do!

*PRAY*

* help me fall in love with the God who IS, not the God that I want!

* help me transition to knowing I’m ok as I am & surrender to resting in Fathers’ peace!

* tear down the “things” I try to find life in apart from Him so I only go to Him!!

* Show me the one thing He wants me to pour this life He’s given me to!

* help me to live in a very keen sense of Fathers’ timing for me!!!

* help me to see past rejection!

* help me not be an observer in life, but fully be engaged with Him in this precious life He’s given me!

* grant me restful sleep at night with peaceful dreams – still get nights hard to sleep with active/bizarre dreams that leave me sleepy during the day >.<

* help me praise & thank Him even when I get migraines that knock me out & throw my plans for the day off!

have been privileged to help Winny in her spiritual journey of Discovering who Father really is .. getting past all the religious misrepresentations!!

passed her an English bible awhile ago .. found out her room mate (Gianni)  has been reading the bible i passed to Winny so i "invited myself" over to their place last night to deliver more bibles for their share mates  & hear where they're at in their journeys :D

please do pray with me that Father reveals HImself to them for who He really is, that they experience His love in a truly deep & personal way ... so all their "head knowledge" of Him sinks deep into their heart and the "religion" they were once "on fire" for would turn into a passionate Love Relationship!

especially for Winny .. pray she continues to be broken of herself to the point of complete abandon & trust in Jesus Christ!
.. pray the rest of their sharemates be won into His love too!

:D the team of leading couples involved, united in heart & purpose!


*PRAY*


* keep all registered couples free to go to the M.E.R & have no last-minute surprises pop up preventing them from going or refusing to participate halfway / dropping out before completing the weekend [as has often happened!]


* give OPEN, TEACHABLE hearts & ears for all couples attending to hear & receive God's Word that bears fruit to His glory, not resisting the Holy Spirit's refining fire process of making beauty through breaking!!


* lasting life change & lifelong application of all that'll be learnt!


* marriages would change to look more like earthly reflections of the Divine marriage between Christ & His church!


* Christ be made to look great through the marriages of His people!


* keep drawing unsaved spouses to Jesus through the love, life-and-word witness of their saved spouses & friends [as has often happened!]


* thwart every evil scheme of the stealer, killer & destroyer of love & lives, that Jesus would have the manifest pre-eminence in ALL THINGS!

. . . thank God we're on the winning side~!

i do stupid things!

. .. one of the more recent of which is grossly exceeding my my monthly quota of mobile internet data
 :(~~~


so my next bill, where normally i'd only pay $9.90, will be in the $$$'s!!! >.<

so i won't be able to make calls or end messages, it seems, from my normal phone number until the bill is settled. [~the 11-18th of this month?]

* it may seem like an impossibility, but i'm praying for my mobile provider to have mercy on me & give me grace, not justice!


:D thank Him that i can trust Him in ALL curcumstances, even in my stupidity, to come through :D
