i'm not sure what to make of our time last Friday - his response on the course assessment sheet seemed to point to him having become a Christian (was about to go crazy jumping up & down for joy!) but digging deeper, he wasn't clear . . . but am trusting Father to keep working in His life, seeking & saving this lost sheep~! please keep praying with me to the end that Father be glorified & Christ be magnified in Niro!!

Lord, what is man, that You care for him, the son of man that You think of him? Man is like a breath; his days are like a fleeting shadow. Psalms 144:3


Man is nothing! Nothing but a breath that lasts for a moment or a passing shadow. Furthermore, other parts of Scripture, especially the first chapter of Romans, tell of man’s evil desires and sinful nature. Doesn’t it cause God pain to constantly woo the unreached peoples like the Tabasarans, who are in rebellion against Him? Yes, indeed! But because of His love, His righteousness, and His holy character, God pursues unbelievers so that they may have abundant life just as we, His children do. In order to be righteous ambassadors of Christ, shouldn’t we be doing all we can to draw the unreached to Christ?

* help me to prize Christ as all-precious, all-delightful & all-satisfying, considering all else I once thought valuable as dung!!

The gospels provide us with four perspectives of the Lord Jesus, each emphasizing some particular aspect of His person. Yet each gospel clearly presents His command to take the good news to the entire world. Here we read Jesus’ gentle reminder of the global nature of the good news. “Other sheep” may be understood as “other nations,” or “other peoples.” Let us exhort each other in the church to remember all the other sheep from “every tongue, tribe, people, and nation” that are not yet in the fold! Let us think and pray about how we can share the news of Jesus with the “other sheep,” the unreached peoples of the world.

Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Proverbs 30:5

Small people groups like the Tsezs must learn many other languages to communicate with their more numerous neighbors. None of the peoples of this diverse region have the entire Bible in their own language. They cannot read or hear the “flawless” words of the Lord. How can they take refuge in Him without His Word?

Pray that the flawless word of God will soon come to the Tsez people and their neighbors.

tell them there's an important message for them to see as soon as they can!


something i'm making more of a habit of doing with these exchanges on the phone with strangers is learn to see them as so much more than just a stranger, but rather as a precious soul, made & loved by Father who He wants to bring to Himself!

For way too long, the high Caucasus Mountains have been too steep a barrier to the gospel in this region. But why weren’t they too steep for Muslim missionaries who brought their religion to the region hundreds of years ago?

Pray that soon the “beautiful feet” of Christ’s ambassadors will reach every village, every mountain peak and every people in the high Caucasus Mountains. Pray that gospel recordings will become abundantly available throughout this region.

i just received a seriously humbling lesson in evangelism from some Jehovah's Witness doorknockers who came to our house. :|



i took their literature in exchange for a gospel tract :) -

- ":)" so i thought . . . but they came back & Rob explained why he couldn't accept it, that i was only giving him a token service. :(

he & other Jehovah's Witness take a day off work, going from house to house to freely offer their message which they strongly believe is of importance for everyone.

and if i truly believed i have a message of importance for everyone, i should be out doing what they do.

me giving them a gospel tract showed seriously little effort & concern on my part . . . they make the effort to take a day off work and go from house to house to get their message to the people. 

.. talk about being seriously put to shame!! >_<
sure, i might witness to the occassional stranger by approaching them / leaving them a gospel tract, but i felt if i was truly deeply convicted that my message is The Only message that can save, WHY did i let them leave my doorstep without making more of an effort to engage them about their eternal welfare, instead i just let them go on spreading their lies?!


do i really believe what i say / think i believe??!!

that all who die without their sins forgiven through trusting in Jesus Christ alone will  spend eternity in hell?!

and if i truly belived that, WHY am i not more urgent to rescue the dying, sharing this message of salvation & turn the lost from their sin to The Only Saviour?

I’m learning that on this journey with Father, it’s His role to lead & guide, my role is to simply listen, trust and follow. NOT question! And when I do question, I’m actually showing an ugly, proud spirit! ~>_<~

:D thanks for praying for direction – I sense Father leading me to become an intercessor – a most exciting and dangerous adventure~!

:D He’s constantly humbling me & convicting me of sins – revealing the ugly depths of my desperately wicked heart without Him – I’m rejoicing because it keeps me coming back to Him for grace every moment – I need it that much!


:D the wonderful life of REST He’s invited us into – to cease from our weary, difficult, heavy-laden lives & rest in HIS doing!


:D I can never know the enormity of my sin, and it’s not necessary I do!


:D all I need to know is “where sin increased, grace increased even more,”!! [Romans 5;20]

-- something that disturbs me a lot – I seem to have trouble believing, accepting & living like I am loved as much as I *know* I’m loved. :O maybe I’ve just believed too long & too deeply the lie that I can’t truly be loved / I’m too far gone to be loved :S

*PRAY*

* help me live truth – live loved!! [often have huge mental & emotional battles inside of me over this] :(

* help me to love with sacrificial compassion those I pray for!


* give me a deep love and willingness to suffer with Christ on behalf of sinful humans, even to the point of giving my life for others!

* I’d adjust my life to be an intercessor Father will use to advance His Kingdom around the world!


* I’d be completely and entirely identified with Fathers’ interests in the lives of those I pray for!


* save me from a stubborn, proud spirit!


* I’d see how Father is working in others so I can join Him in His work!


* help me to live with Micah 6:8 SIMPLICITY~! [how easily i complicate life with religious baggage] :|

* I’d abide in Christ by -
– relaxing, trusting His indwelling Life to motivate and mobilize my actions!

* give me a hypersensitivity and a absolute hatred to all things that stink of self!

* help me sort through the spiritual pride issues I have as i’m involved in ’ministry’ that can easily puff up my flesh!


* help me serve others with His love & humility even when I’m feeling tired & spent like Jesus did! [Mark 6:30-44!!]


Or even when I’d rather just be by myself! [which is all too often the case . . . :( )
* I’d *maximize* being  single withits' unmatched opportunities for growth, learning and service for His glory!

was tempted to get swept up in the whole iPhone hype / craze . . . 100 yrs from now i'll certainly be most glad i didn't!! ;)
i'm not condemning anyone who has an iphone. i'm just saying for myself, it'd be a needless distraction & a massive waste of limited time & money!
[sure, i may be able to put it to some good use, but is it really worth blowing hundreds of $$ on?!]

i regret all the money i've wasted on gadgets/ technological fads that have lasted as long as the Spice Girls' comeback :O
to think how the same money could've been invested into Heavenly Treasures "where moth and rust do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal."
how many eternally precious could've had a chance to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ & been saved!! . . . had i only invested in them and wasn't so distracted by stuff that didn't last too long before i broke it /lost it / it became obsolete. :S

Oh, my crazy covetous & idolatrous heart that gets easily distracted by "the latest & greatest" gadgets . . . :S

praying i'd not envy sinners, or covet any of their perishing possessions!
. . . how much more happier will i be, and others, that rather than spending $$ on stuff that doesn't last too long before it breaks / gets lost / becames obsolete, it can help the poor / serve to proclsaim the Good News of God's Kingdom to those still waiting to hear?!
 this beautiful chorus came to my heart:

so it's reasonable to conclude if earthly things do  appeal to me & attract, i'm not looking fully into the wonderful face of Jesus! :|

satan promises "better things", otten more easily, quickly & in a way "preferred" to God's plan - these are empty promises & lies!! he always wrapshis offers in claims that "seem" esaier, less expensive, and far less burdensome. our eemy's argument is essentially the same as the old "ends justifies the means" idea.
satans' 3rd temptation of Jesus was seeking to buy Christ's soul & his permaent loyalty. the cost for The Lord, if he accepted the offer of the worls' kingdoms would've been devastating beyond measure!
fotr us, satan's price is always far more than we are led to believe - and the goods we receive always incredibly fall short of what we had expected

thamkfully, Jesus reognised these truths & din't give into the final temptation. if he did accept satans' evil offer, Jesus would've disqualified Himself as both Saviour and King.
instead of rescuing the world, Hewould have joined it; instead of inheriting it, He would've lost both it and us.
