- The Spirit led me to go through Christianity Explained #4 'salvation by grace not works' with him, following on from something he brought up during our last time together on how God could save a criminal who "became a Christian" just before he was executed for his crimes ..
operating with The Spirit in evangelism is soo cool & exciting!!!
there were times he'd bring up points of contention & i'd be stuck as to how to respond to him, but shot up quick prayers to The Throne & he'd put a thought / illustration in my mind!!! :D so while he seems to "get it" [in his head] that we can only be saved by God's grace & not by our works,
* please do be praying Father makes the seed of Ephesians 2:8-10 & Mark 10:15 real in his life!! .. may Father work through the bible verses + the tract he has to read as homework to convict him of sin, & draw him to The Only Saviour!!

- i suspect his past involvement in martial arts + the spirit of his culture may be blockages from him totally repenting & throwing the full weight of his confidence on Christ.
he revealed an interesting cultural insight into Japanese & Taiwanese people, that they tend more towards "balance" than extremes, and so their response to the person of Christ may tend to be more moderate than full-on.
* take authority over every spiritual power & cultural spirit holding him captive from finding his true identity & "home" in Jesus, NOT in the martial arts!
* may Yoshi, & my others held captive by cultural spirits be completely set free -- free to live fully in Christ, and free to live fully for Christ!!!
* pray for our next time together - he seems keen to continue on with Christianity Explained - just 2 more to go!
.. i trust Father to move as we, His children, pray! :D
