rejoice with me & pray for me~!!

- an excerpt from great free book I’ve been reading [download here: www.gfa.org/resource/books/destined-to-soar/

Isaiah 55:6–11 gives us a clear picture of how much the Living God wants to abundantly pardon, bless us, answer our prayers and fulfill His wonderful promises. But those who come to Him must give up one thing: their own thoughts. “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him” (Isaiah 55:7).

. .. . The whole message God wants to tell us is that if we want to experience God, we must first abandon our thoughts and then start thinking His. – destined-to-soar p26,7

once again, my dear praying friends, I Humbly ask your prayers as we journey on to HIM! :)

if you have any questions / comments of my life, Don’t be shy~! my life's an open book ;)

++ praise & prayer points from previous prayer posts mostly still apply, but for the sake of space I’ll leave them out ;)

:D rejoice with me! :D

:D freeing me from a selfish existence full of grabbing & getting!

:D freeing me to ~live~ simply by responding to His giving, & in turn generously giving to others!

*PRAY*

* I’d always delight in the treasure & worth of Christ above all earthly “attractions” & distractions!

* show me HIS vision for my life – has occurred to me how visionless & aimless I can often be . . . :|

* I’d constantly abandon my thoughts & get them in line with His!

* free me from living to please myself, *especially* when i can rationalize it so well!

* I’d *gladly* embrace the last position to be a slave to all in imitation of my Saviour & King! =D

* make me a better lover of my neighbours as they go through tough times – being there, listening more than advising / being a ‘miserable comforter’ as Jobs’ friends were!

* I’d seek Him for His sake, not for what He can give, but for Who He is, not to get some need met, but simply to know Him!

See http://theschoolofchrist.org/articles/do-we-look-for-another.html

*I’d *obey* Mark 8:34 [MSG] “let Me [Jesus] lead. You're not in the driver's seat; I [Jesus] am. Don't run from suffering; embrace it. Follow Me[Jesus] and I'll[Jesus] show you how.]
~thanks~!!

Philemon 1:22 Because of your prayers, I can I fully expect God to answer them~! :)

The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying.

He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayerless religion.

He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray.

We have to stop looking at prayer as the spare tire in the trunk and start seeing it as the steering wheel.

Revolution in World Missions isn't really a book about missions. It's about what God can do with your heart when you let Him.
