Sunday, August 20, 2006 Completely Sold Out
When you study the Book of Acts, you will see that the Church was on fire. The zeal of God's House had eaten them up. They were about their Father's business. They were whole- heartedly sold out for the Kingdom of God. That's the key to being effective in reaching the lost. The Bible says, " ... the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong on behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him."( 2 Chronicles 16:9) The word "perfect" simply means, "to be completely sold out to God." Many Christians are living in defeat because they are not serving God with that perfect heart, and so the Lord is not showing Himself strong on their behalf. Today, be sold out to God by reaching out to the unsaved, and watch Him show Himself strong on your behalf. There goes another minute. Gone forever. Go share your faith while you still have time.
