I'm going with them to try to communicate clearly to future in-laws tomorrow .. really NEED supernatural intervention as her dad doesn't seem to listen & comprehend the heart behind people's words well..

+ language barrier with mum.

only 1 day before they take the plunge & sign the marriage cert, and they feel parental pressure to go ahead, without sorting out their big relational issues beforehand ... 

covet prayers for heavenly wisdom in abundance!

* let what stands out in my life not be education / training but having been with Jesus!!!

... it was possibly the worst party i've ever been too .. :"(

never before have i felt so burdened for a friend & so disgraced by people supposedly 'christian' yet be so unloving .. and i'm pretty sure they had the best of intentions to love as best as they knew how .. which makes it even more of a sad, sad tragedy! :"(

i want so very much for their relationship to prosper, but must be wary if trying to step in as some false Saviour. :S

I'm realizing more & more that any marriage between two fallen people that works must be an absolute Divine MIRACLE!!!

. but since Yoshi doesn't believe in or see the need for miracles ... ?!

.. hmm, maybe this could change his mind!!

 meeting him on Wednesday-the day before they sign the paper .. truly covet your prayers that i be a faithful friend, pointing Yoshi to Him who is Divine Love personified, to see his need of a miracle & enter into relationship with Love Himself - Jesus Christ, Saviour & Lord!!
+ a miraculous working to help them communicate healthily before they sign the paper!

:D giving us a time together to catch up last night - his fiancee recently arrived from overseas.
weird how i seem to talk with him much more freely about Jesus/ spiritual things when it's just me & him, even though his fiancee is a pastor's daughter.
aaarrghgh.. bugs me!!

in 8 days he'll be married!!

 ... i can see significant issues that would cause potentially great harm in their marriage .. pray for courage & tactful wisdom to bring them up with him!

.. Sunday afternoon/night his future in-laws are having a party to celebrate .. covet your prayers for quality interactions there! 
 

above all, may Jesus do the miracle of giving Yoshi new birth to eternal life!

.. i met Kelvin & Roxy [amongst others] at a super-encouraging "thank God for my birth" party of a brother in Jesus last night .. he used the opportunity to share his story of how he met Jesus - i might take that example up in future! ;)

Kelvin seems to want to have a closer relationship with Jesus, 

Roxy says "I'm not a Christian yet" .. but it's obvious God's on her case!! ^__^ 

let's pray them both into The kingdom!! 

may their time overseas & away from the homes be pivotal in binging them out of darkness & into His Light!!!

*PRAY*

* keep all registered couples free to go to the M.E.R withno last-minute surprises pop up preventing them from going or refusing to participate halfway / dropping out before completing the weekend [as has often happened!]



* help the leading couples be fully Spirit-led in all they say & do!
* give OPEN, TEACHABLE hearts & ears for all couples attending to hear & receive God's Word that bears fruit to His glory, not resisting the Holy Spirit's refining fire process of making beauty through breaking!!

* lasting life change & lifelong application of all that will be learnt!

* marriages would change to look more like earthly reflections of the Divine marriage between Christ & His church!

* Christ be made to look great through the marriages of His people!

* keep drawing unsaved spouses to Jesus through the love, life-and-word witness of their saved spouses & friends [as has often happened! :D]

* thwart every evil scheme of the stealer, killer & destroyer of love & lives, that Jesus would have the manifest pre-eminence in ALL THINGS!

I came to a point the other day of asking myself “what do I really want?! It ended with surrendering my desire to be healed & just wanting Jesus. The recent time being sick has served to bring me closer to Him, as has every other time of testing in the past .. no blessing is more beautiful than knowing the Blesser! .. for those who understand Chinese, I love this song!! “這一生最美的祝福  “the most beautiful blessing in life”

Papa’s teaching me to just walk this journey by a series of simple, uncomplicated choices every moment. 

Eg .. will I live by the power of Christ in me, dead to self but alive to God in Him or will I head on the expressway to failure by continuing in my stubbornly independent ways?!

… will I live in the truth of His great all-satisfying love or will I live in the lie that I need to go grab after things He hasn’t given? .. will I engage with and love the people He puts around me or will I withdraw and isolate myself?

… will i think & act like a boy or will I live as a man? Etc etc ;)

* I’d keep living the life of simple choices that chooses Him & His ways, not complicating things!!

* I’d keep wanting the Presence of God in my life, changing & transforming me, not just wanting the power of God’s presence to work for me!

* give me much grace to choose to live freely & abundantly!! :D

* I’d walk in the authority He’s given me to permit / forbid what’s permitted/forbidden in heaven!

* expose what I’ve tolerated in my life but is contrary to His will, disguised as my ‘friend’! e.g. .. fear .. unbelief .. poverty spirit!!

* I’d co-operate with His revelation & keep aligning my thoughts with His! :)

* I’d stay with the best thing He’s assigned me to do, & not get sidetracked with other good things!

been having & seems to be lots better.
:D ... my dad's a natural evangelist when he massages! .. don't know if he's like that with all his clients ;)

my spirit, family relationships & other relationships has been deeply blessed through the few day courses i've gone to!! this is quite basic discipleship training for every follower of Jesus!
