met Akil on the train to a prayer meeting - my sinful self caused me to hesitate for quite awhile before talking with him. (maybe it was because he looked muslim, and i've had too many "bad" experiences being the object of a muslim mans' monologue :| .. hoping he might be an exception, but unfortunately, he wasn't:"(
i broke the ice by asking where he came from, Pakistan ... he asked me & since i was born in a "muslim country" he asked if i was muslim.
"no, i'm a follower of Isa (Jesus)" i replied. he then asked if i was Chinese-Malaysian :P
anyway, after what seemed like a lengthy monologue broken up with a few odd questions like "do you believe Jesus was a muslim?" .. he arrived at his stop, me struggling to find a gap to exalt Christ .. and feeling, all too often with many of my past encounters with muslims, so sad & sorry that they're deceived as they are :"(
.. yet he is just one of more than a billion+ precious souls trapped in bondage to a religion of darkness, death & mass destruction!!
.. how can they ever have truly live if they never have their sin-disease cured by the perfect sacrifice of God's lamb for them?!
in the end i assed him a brochure to the word of life correspondence course, which many muslims have taken & cometo know the light of the glory of Jesus' Good News.
my efforts seemed so incredibly feeble, .. i just pray God would use the brochure to bring notonly him, but his entire country people to know, love & trust in The Only Name under Heaven given by which we might besaved!!
.. please join with me in prayer for his salvation & the salvation of vast multitudes of souls trapped in religious darkness!
