The Widow�s Mite



Are you grateful for Calvary? Do you look at the cross with tears in your eyes? Then show God your gratitude. Give Him the "widow's mite" of your evangelistic witness. The incident of the poor widow giving her last two coins to God shows us that only the gift that costs, counts. God knows what it costs you to stand up for the Gospel. Perhaps for you to give a tract to an unsaved person may be equivalent (on a "courage level") to some other Christian standing up and preaching in the open air. Don't let fear stop you. You can do it. Don't listen to your fears. Say, "If God is for me, nothing can be against me. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Then do it. Civil law is still on our side-you'll not be thrown to the lions. Let the devil eat dust. There goes another minute. Gone forever. Go share your faith while you still have time.
