Luke 12:48
"From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked."
This text is especially applicable to North Americans [Western Christians in general!] . No society in history has been entrusted with more material and spiritual resources than ours. How much, then, does God expect of us in helping to fulfill the Great Commission? How much does He expect of you? The faithful and sensible steward is one who is doing his master's will while waiting for his master's imminent return.
pray: Father, we long to be faithful stewards of our talents and wealth for the advancement of Your kingdom to the ends of the earth.
